Just look at the recent lebabanon retaliation if you new your history its quite obvious that was a israels way of fighting back due to lebanon in 1948 joining the invasion of israel, and we all now the situation with palestine the fact of the matter is that israel are a peace preventing nation and although the people of the nation are peaceful and want peace there leaders seem the opposite, look i can go on and on but seriouslly i dont wanna start a pointless argument so can we dropp it here right now.
OK, I find that ridiculous and I made myself something of an expert on that conflict, speaking to a number of Lebanese people and knowing the Israeli viewpoint well.
Incidentally, things in Lebanon are not looking good. Lebanon used to be overwhelmingly Sunni and Christian, and Syria has over the years introduced a massive Shia element that dominates the country, resulting in an immense civil war and tensions that continue to this day. Jumblatt has recently issued strong words to Hezbollah implying that another civil war may be on the horizon. That owes something to Israel but a great deal to Syria's having systematically assassinated Lebanon's brightest and best politicians and Prime Ministers and installed a massive resistance movement.
We can indeed drop it if you like. The last time I discussed those matters here we had a serious argument and I left the site for several months, so it is probably for the best that we don't open that Pandora's Box, but if you're interested in my understanding PM me and we can have a more relaxed conversation in our own time. What I will say that we could agree on is that the campaign was very poorly planned and executed resulting in a lot of tragic and unnecessary bloodshed.

I agree because this issue is both quite close to our hearts and seeing as your the only jew on the forum it wouldnt be fair to start a debate because being a muslim that wouldnt be right. Also the whole point of a discussion or debate is try to influence the others opinion and frankly it wont happen. I see no point of a debate where the opinions of the people are the same and i would prefer discussing ways in which to resolve the issues such as this friction in the middle east. It needs to be resolved because where not promoting our religions well and inoccent people are being sucked into something which they want nothing to do with and i fear that another holocaust is imminent.

Our Ayatollah says there is no such thing as Israel. It doesn't exist. Muslims who recognise Israel are trators to Islam and to their brothers and sisters in Palestine. They need to repent fast before Allah judges them and sends His Divine punishment. Inshallah Imam Mehdi will wipe Israel off the face of the map.

Imam Mehdi will come and wipe off something that 'doesn't exist' from the map?

Me too.
Today I consumed enough Brie to support a small French farm for over a year. I hope they're grateful.
If there humans most likely they wont be.

Huh? You mean French?
Should we move this back to the No Topic thread?
It would be best to.
