You know how they say alot of the wars we're having is because of religion.
Well... lets see if we can name the major wars starting from the most recent going back to... well till the cows come home.
And see how many of them were started because of religion.
IMO The War on Terror was pretty much a 'blame the mozlims' for everything sorta deal.
The Gulf War between Iraq and the coalition forces. Which pretty much started with Iraq and our Mr Saddam Hussain invading Kuwait which was a tiny little country who Saddam suspected were steeling his oil. So that was pretty much about oil.
The Iraq-Iran war was pretty much bcoz of Iran was having having a revolution where they over threw the Shah and Saddam being a nosy neighbour thought "wha-hay, while Irans all disillusioned i'll sneak across the border and pinch some land and huge reserves of oil" so off he goes. So that was pretty much bcoz Saddam was ... well a prat and wanted land and oil.
The Falkland War was where Argentina trying to be good at something other than football. They led an invasion of South Georgia and the Falkland Islands. Thatcher said "hands off buddy" and went down to kick thme in the crown-jewels. So in retrospect that war occured becoz of land.
The Korean War. Or to be more accurate South Korea vs North Korea. Different regimes one was communist and the other wasn't. What made matters worse was that both sides were being supported by foreign powers. North Korea being all evil and communist was supported by the Soviet Union (Or the Russians to you young-er lot.... we just called them the Ruskies) and the South Koreans who were supported by America. Basically it was a civil war between the two Koreans trying to take each other out (and i dont mean for dinner). The external forces obviously made things worse.
The Vietnam War... the first ever war that America lost. The reason why America entered the war was because they didnt want Vietnam turning into a communist state. This was probably at the hight of the Cold War with the Soviets. I guess this war was all political.
World War 2: was caused by the Germans invading Poland. Hitler wanted to renite all the Germans and used the Jewish people as scape goats to do it. So that war was basically the Germans going insane.
World War 1: well I dont really remember how this war started by a bloke called Archie Duke shot an Ostrich because he was hungry.
Feel free to add your own.
World war 1: was growing tension between the alies and the triple etente they just wanted an excuse to fight and it was given by the assination of archduke franz ferdinand by gavrilo princip, britain thought it would be over in about 6 months boy where they in for a suprise.
World war 2: was the result of appeasement used by neville chamberlain hitler kept asking for more until it was too much so he took it himself, chamberlain made a fool of himself by waving a paper which he said guaranteed peace in our time, it literally wasnt worth the paper it was written on.
Those who danced were thought to be quite insane, by those who couldn't hear the music...
Soviet-afghan war: equivelent to vietnam, america planted opium to make the russians "high" it ended up in there back gardens inside a columbian womens stomach then tooken out and sold on the streets, nice one america!
Those who danced were thought to be quite insane, by those who couldn't hear the music...
erm... I doubt if there is any truth behind that.

You say im lying? cia planted it but they deny it, most historians would agree they did plant it, why do you think there is a huge amount of heroin use in afghanistan.

Not saying "you" are lying, but that there is an untruth somewhere in the chain of narration.
