You seriously think there's nothing wrong with that? Please tell me you're joking :!:  :?

No i was asking why you would be called a weirdo?

Cz only a weirdo would go up to a sister in hijaab or any other girl for that matter and say you smell nice. Actually you probably wouldn't be called a weirdo but a perv.

What?!? a perv just for saying to someone they smell nice its called a compliment.

In you're weird world it maybe. Someone sniffing you up.. hell no!

Did i say sniff someone? All i said was say "you smell nice" maybe your corrupt mind is intepreting something else, do i have to remind you im speaking english?

No need to get defensive... either of you.

Context is the main thing. Which reminds me of a joke. Not suitable for here.

And there is something called 'lowering the gaze'. There is no need for you to tell a girl she smells nice, if anything she'd think you're a weirdo.

Noor I'm gonna agree with you on this. Ok Funzo you may think there is a subtle and polite way of telling a girl she smells nice, but I dont think it is something you should say!

Even if you think someone does smell nice, its not something that you would say to a girl, there is no real need at all. It could be perceived as an advance on your part.

I would never tell a girl she smelt nice, or a guy. Unless its your partner, wifey, lol then its ok!

The media, government, tried to blow us, but they can't out the flame, or doubt the name.

I don't think it'll work well as a chat up line either...

OK then, how about this:

"Your teeth are like the stars (they come out at night)."

Its one for the 'older generation'.

In terms of alcohol in deodorants:

WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE ON?

Who said you can't use them if they have alcohol in them?

DO YOU KNOW WHY DRINKING IS HARAM?? its not because there is something 'magic' about alcohol, its because it makes you DRUNK!

Alcohol has other uses, which noone can sensibly say is 'haram'.

alcohol is one of the world's BEST substances for killing bacteria, it is also cheap. this is why hospitals use it to clean wounds. this is why lynx has it in their deodorant. It is hygenic. Cleanliness is close to Godliness.

The reason oil-based perfumes are so expensive, is BECAUSE they don't have alcohol in them.

When it comes to mouthwash, I know you can get non-alcohol based ones. But the fact is that they are more expensive and less effective at killing bacteria in your mouth.

Has anyone ever heard the hadith that says that all actions are judged by the intention?

Don't just do something! Stand there.

Isn't that another way of saying that your teeth are yellow?

All i know i was taught you cannot pray in the clothes which have deodarant on them.

is that because your clothes might be intoxicated?

/shrugs

/i don't mean to be rude, but that sounds to be to be completely ridiculous

so you can't pray in a car because of the petrol either?

What about people who wear it on there clothes wheres the hygene in that. You arent exactly going to be hygenic if you put it on your clothes therefore you are putting alcohol on your clothes for no purpose what so ever.

would you pray while having propane on your clothes? the chemicals inside can also cause convulsions, diarrhea, nausea, unconsciousness, dizziness, or rapid heartbeat.

That is not haraam as far as I know...

(and propane is not an alcohol... even from the alcohol family (easy to tell as they end in "ol", the one that is haraam to drink is ethanol. Not that you would drink the others... they are poisonous...))

As far as I know, the Qur'an says: "Oh you who believe do not approach prayer while you are intoxicated (drunk), so you may know what you are saying" (4:43)

While some interpret this to mean intoxicated on any worldy matter (such as love of wealth, lust etc, as well as being drunk on alcohol, I've never heard this interpreted to mean 'do not have alcohol on your clothes'.

Listen all i am saying is that my teacher taught me not to do so, i should have questioned him but i didnt if i remember when i see him next i will ask him.
