just wanted to say sorry for the chat yesterday (05/01/09)

1.i have a lot of respect as i have gathered, through reading comments, that Ya'qub is a revert (i hope im not mistaken *lips biting*) THIS deserve respect (i think)

2.i respect Ya'qub because he is older than me, i cant realy recall the convo from yesterday, but i must have been rude in some way..

3.Ya'qub sounds wise so i should listen... and respect

4.he has more experience than me

i have more reason to apologize than to anything, so i'd rather apologize

A Jew lost his invaluable ring and accidentally a poor Muslim fellow found it. When this Muslim came to know that it belongs to that Jew he went to return him. The Jew smiled and asked him:"Do you know its value?"

The Muslim replied:"Yes."

"You found this and you are also a poor and a needy!" said the Jew.

"Yes, you are right." The Muslim replied.
The Jew asked,"Did it not come to your mind that by selling this ring you can live a comfortable life as you had an excuse that it belonged to a Jew?"

Me, My Family & The Hajj (part 2)

So there i was in Saudi soaking up the good vibes (and the sunshine Biggrin ) at one of the holiest cities in all of the Muslim world. And im wondering: "What the hell is that SMELL?"

For an enlightened people (supposedly), muslims certainly make one HECK of a mess. The streets walking to the mosque in Makkah literally STINK of garbage. Muslims of a certain national (not mentioning who) would buy food from takeouts (all the streets are lined with them) eat it outside on the street and throw the stuff on the street. Then they'd do their wudu there, even sleep there. And i wouldnt be surprised if they took a leak there too. Infact theres soo much garbage that the government has to hire a 24/7 cleaning crew... and its still not clean.

During the month of Ramadan
The Quran was revealed
To our beloved prophet

Goods deeds should be multiply
And bad ones avoided
Daily invocations should be made
And no more backbiting

The big devils are chain up
The angels are ready to record
Major or smaller sins or otherwise good deeds

Heaven is wide open
Hellfire is firmly shut
Lailatul qadr is an odd night
Worth more that a thousand months

Eid is our reward
For all the efforts, for our fast
It marks the end of Ramadan, a sorrow and a joy
It is a celebration but the blessed month is over
