Motivation

Aalamualaikum,
This little story is about a donkey's motivation. It just goes to show how In this world people will always throw stones in the path of our Success, it depends on us? What we make from them - a wall or a bridge.

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well that the farmer had accidentally left uncovered. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do? Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway, so it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.

Farmer invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down.

Oldham East and saddleworth, Take 2.

I mentioned before how I was not too fussed about who won in Oldham East.

But now I think there are two potential candidates to vote for:

1. Kashif Ali as the token Muslim Tory who almost turned it into a three horse race last time around.
2. Elwyn Watkins, the Lib Dem guy who should have won last time around.

and those are in no particular order. Why the sudden change?

Labour just don't get privacy/liberty.

In recent days I have heard of two different incidents which tell me that Labour just does not get the idea of the right to privacy and liberty.

First, there was the suggestion that speed cameras should be "reversed" to also "reward good drivers". Ofcourse this would mean tracking each and every journey to decide who the good drivers are etc, instead of only keeping on record those that speed.

and now after the Jo Yeates murder, another Labour MP has suggested that all men in Bristol should submit their DNA for testing in order to find the killer.

Maybe its what being in power for 143 years does, but Labour seriously need to sort out their views on civil liberties and right to privacy.

Nobodys Perfect

Hello Everyone,
I just thought about writing about something that has been bothering me all week, before I go to bed. Instead of boring you with what happened I'll just write it as a moral type story.

Once upon a time there was a water-bearer in India who had two large pots, each hung on each end of a pole which he carried across his neck. One of the pots had a crack in it, and while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water at the end of the long walk from the stream to the master's house, the cracked pot arrived only half full.

For a full two years this went on daily, with the bearer delivering only one and a half pot full of water in his master's house.

A helping hand...

This week has been a whirlwind of a week and what hapened today was the icing on my cake...

This little happening today made me feel so upset and annoyed at all the people on the escalator at TJ HUGHES.

I was with my auntie in TJ HUGHES. What I didnt know, was that my auntie had decided to go upstairs without telling me, so first thing people going past me were giving me weird looks, why? because I was there talking to myslef next to the kettle things. I thought I was talking to my auntie, but it looked like I was talking to a kettle, not really my cup of tea usually but I didn't know...

Anyway when I did realise that she had gone off, I rang her and asked where she was, it turned out she had gone upstairs.
