Six Attacks by Shaytaan - Ten Defenses

The evil of Shaytaan is limited to six categories, he continues [to assault] mankind until he succeeds in one or more of them:

1) The evil of polytheism and disbelief;

2) Then innovations;

3) Next are the major sins;

4) Then the minor sins;

5) Subsequently, busying people with practicing Mubahaat [Actions that one is neither ordered to do or prohibited from performing specifically]

6) Next is busying them with practicing deeds which are good instead of deeds which are better.

The reasons that safeguard a servant from the Shaytaan are ten:

1) Seeking refuge with Allaah from him;

2) Reading al Mu'awathatain [ Surat an Naas and Surat al Falaq];

3) Reading Ayatul Kursi;

Anyone tried it? had any problem with it?

i think it just completely killed the laptop...feels like reformatting is going to be needed..and i got NO BACKUP!

it doesnt look like its a hardware issue, coz i havent changed anything, but the night of the day i installed mozilla 4... all heckbroke loose. Lappy kept restarting itself, and because dad was going on a trip i wasnt really paying attention.

then, next day tried to switch it on and at first the "safe mode" optionscreen would come up. i managed to get account throughsafe mode;but that was just once... and everytime the lappy would restart,before that, there would be a blue screen telling me something that i didnt have time to read.

OBL is dead?
Is it true?
What's the proof?
Why was the body 'buried in the sea' and not kept as evidence/proof?
If this news is true then was Pakistan defending him?
Or is this all a hype as the U.S. Elections are coming up and Obama need s a boost?

Sahih Bukhari - Hadith No. 591

Narrated by Al-Mughira bin Shu'ba: The Prophet said, "Allah has forbidden for you, (1) to be undutiful to your mothers, (2) to bury your daughters alive, (3) to not to pay the rights of the others (e.g. charity, etc.) and (4) to beg of men (begging). And Allah has hated for you (1) vain, useless talk, or that you talk too much about others, (2) to ask too many questions, (in disputed religious matters) and (3) to waste the wealth (by extravagance).

This is a reminder to me before anyone else. May Allah preserve from ever falling into any of these categories.

From Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri, who said: “Whoever reads Soorat al-Kahf on the night of Jumu’ah, will have a light that will stretch between him and the Ancient House (the Ka’bah).”
(Narrated by al-Daarimi, 3407. This hadeeth was classed as saheeh by Shaykh al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami, 6471)

(b) “Whoever reads Soorat al-Kahf on the day of Jumu’ah, will have a light that will shine from him from one Friday to the next.”

What are theses Sunnah of Allaah and how do we relate to them
The Intent, Planning and Actions of Allaah
Allaah is in Control and involved in the Affairs of the Creation

Fortunate is he who has his mother by his side,
All the worries of this world seem just like a ride,

A hand to comfort you and to wipe away your tears,
A heart so loving and so caring it takes away your fears,

Never did you think of those who did not have the same,
To many in their heart she lives, burning like a flame,

All the beautiful women of this world I would give,
Just to have you close to me so I could really live,

Muslim women are always covered from head to toe and they are told to follow certain rules which are enforced upon them. Alot of people question why? We'll just imagine if you had a diamond would you want everyone touching and scratching it? NO! likewise girls are like diamonds to their parents. Parents make sure their diamond is not touched or scratched by covering, protecting and keeping their diamond safe. Therefore draw your veils over your heads and guard your modesty. Just imagine the ummahatul Mumineen sacrifised their life for the hijab and we cannot even keep it on our head, never mind sacrifise. "Purify yourself inward and out, in order to reach the level of truth."
