How many times have you heard comments that suggest someone else is in charge of your destiny?
"America controls the media"
"they don't like us"
"The Israelis control everything"
or even comments such as "the kuffar media".
Add to that talk about freemasons, the illuminati and any other group which is supposed to either control the world or have grand plans to control the world.
I am sure you have all heard of something along those lines.
There is one thing all taht talk has in common - and its not that it is all true.
The thing in common is that it all makes us weak.
It takes the power of action out of our hands.
Instead of doing something to fix any problems, it allows us to throw up our hands as if things are not in our control.
Peace is a question is the answer occupation?
Killing little children does it give them liberation?
preach equality while your soldiers oppress a nation
What would your heart say if you had to face them
Leave the legacy of death in the soil of the earth
Play life like a game like we’re blind to it’s worth
Here they leave flowers for the dead in the cemeteries.
Imagine civilians deaths & not knowing if they were buried.
We treat life like a game like we’re blind to the pain
When millions still fight for their right to remain
In their homes as they go down with the rain
Cus bombs fall everyday from their military planes
That swarm in their skies and are ending their lives
And you can witness the fear that lives in their minds
Dedicated to: Suhail (for helping me out with the rhyming words! Thanxz)
My ink is running wild on the paper,
My eyes are flooding with tears
It’s almost as though, the pain in my heart is afraid to face its fears.
I can’t see what I’m writing,
And my paper is covered in blotches
The candle that is lit by my side
Seems not to recognise my bruises
Its wit is wilted and black
As for me, I feel the same
Can it be that something so sad starts
Tearing your insides, and feeding on your pain.
When my eyes are dried and my tears are long gone
I look down at my paper and see what I have done.
The paper is dark and sweaty from my damp and clammy hands
My pen is wet and slimy from that I can understand.
As I turn out the candle and let my thoughts drift away,

Question:
How can we combine between memorizing the Noble Qur’an and seeking knowledge?
Answer:
Start with the Qur’an, reading it and perfecting its recitation. If you accomplish this –may Allah aid you in seeking knowledge- this is a great bounty from Allah upon you. The Qur’an will be ease for the one who (sincerely) wants it, for verily, Allah The Most High says, “And We have indeed made the Qur’an easy to understand and remember, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)?†[Al-Qamar: 17]

“Think of it this way. Women are God's special creations. They are like diamonds."
Now, you don't want to wrap and protect a precious diamond in some trashy see-through material, do you?
It does not live up to the reputation or value of a diamond. Instead, you would do so in a small nice opaque pouch made out of soft velvet.
This way, not only do get to hide it away from wandering eyes for safety, you also get to give the diamond the treatment it deserves.
Too right...who agrees?
