Salaam Alaikum my dear sisters and brothers in ISLAM,

Unless we're from an isolated island where there's been no civilization and people are simple-minded....we've all fallen prey to this disastrous deed. At some point we've all given that "second glance" - that EVIL second glance. Be it someone on the television or someone in the papers or someone walking down the road - we all have at some point (intentionally or not) taken a second look at someone. And by that I don't mean looking at someone because you like their shoes or the colour of their hair.....i mean the forbidden look - the look of lust. So i guess it's obvious by now it means gazing at the opposite gender.

Ireceived this text with his hadith and it didnt have a reference. and Alhamdoulillah i just fell on an article saying this hadith is actually fabricated.

What is the opinion of Hadith scholars on the following Athar (narration from the Companions): “Rajab is the Month of Allah, Sha‘ban is my month and Ramadan is the month of my Ummah (nation based on one creed)”? And is this a Hadith Sahih (authentic Hadith): “O Allah! To You do I complain of my weakness, my helplessness, and disregard of people towards me...”?

these are what is needed before you start praying for the prayer to be accepted, the "prerequisites" of Prayer

Islaam (being muslim)
Sound mind (not being crazy)

obligations must be done, if left out my ignorance of forgetfullness the salaah is still valid but the sujoods of distraction must be done. If deliberately left out then salaah becomes invalid.

1. all of the takbiraat
2. saying "subhanarabbiyal 'adheem in rukoo' (at least once)
3. saying sami'allahou liman hamida
4. saying Rabbana wa lakalhamd
5. saying Subhana rabbiyal a'laa in sujood (at least once)
6. saying Rabighfirlee when sitting between sujoods (at least once)
7. The first Tashahud
8. Sitting during the first tashahud

pillars of PRAYER (not Islam, thank you TPofS) if you miss any of them out, for whatever reason, then the prayer is invalid. and missing any pillar cannot be compensated by thr sujood of distraction. You have to redo the prayer.

2. opening takbeer - Takbiratul Ihraam
3. Reciting Suratul Fatihah
4. Rukoo'
5. Rising from Rukoo'
6. Sujood on seven bones
7. Rising from Sujood
8. Sitting calmly between sujoods
9. Being tranquil and calm during each pillar
10. Doing the pillars in order
11. The Last Tashaahud
12. Sitting during the last Tashahud
13. Sending Salaah and salaam on nabi (pbuh)
14. The Final Tasleem

dysfunctional families are sick sick sick. and they suck.

OK, so I've managed to keep this going into week two and, as a bonus, I am looking at 2 of Allah's (swt) Names at the same time. Why? Well, these two often come as a pair and it would be rude to welcome in one guest and leave the other at the door. Also, if I deal with the Names one at a time, at this rate it will take 2 years and I hope to be in Paradise by then already!

my birth mark is islam yet i am not a muslim at heart because i sin everyday of my life. I watch tv, listen to music, dress inappropiatly (top and jeans) and further more. i prey to allah subhanallah wa taalah to shower with imaan and guidence which will allow me to take the right path. However my faith always dislocates itself and i end up in the same position i started out;sinning constantly. i try my hadrest not to lose hope, believing that inshallah one day will come, when allah (swt) will give me hidayat and i will have the opportunity to redeem myself and walk the path of redemtion which will prepare me for the day of resurrection.
