Verdict of Islam on Men Shaking Hands With Non-Mehram Women

One of the major questions asked by most of the Muslims residing in West is that, shaking hands with a non-mehram woman is permissible or not?

The ‘woman’ in the question includes both Muslim and Non-Muslim women. Though the Eastern countries provide far less places and chances, where non-mehram men and woman can shake hands with each other, on contrary survival is not possible without doing so in the western world. Moreover, shaking hands with a non-mehram woman is regarded as a sin in Islam.

Abu Issa Mohammed ibn Harun al-Warraq

Abu Issa Mohammed ibn Harun al-Warraq was a 9th Century skeptical scholar and critic of Islam.
He was a mentor and friend of scholar Ibn al-Rawandi in whose work The Book of the Emerald he appears.
Some Muslim sources have described him as being a Muslim and others a Manichaean

Al-Warraq was skeptical of the existence of Allah because "He who orders his slave to do things that he knows him to be incapable of doing, then punishes him, is a fool." Warraq also doubted claims portraying Mohammed as a prophet

Kaaba flooded in 1941

The Kaaba got flooded in 1941

If Allah couldn’t save his own house and land from being flooded how is he going to save me and you from the so called hell fire?

What’s God’s purpose of creating humans?

If his creation is for our benefit, then what is the benefit to those who will burn in hell forever?

If God is self-sufficient all seeing and knowing, and does nothing in vain, isn't creation the height of vanity?

What's the point of God's test when he knows the outcome already? Is it just so that he can have a reason to punish & reward?

God who creates humans knows that a lot of them will fail his test and be tortured without end, can he be called The Most Merciful [Rehman and Rahim]?

Billboard at Uhud Gravesite and Women Forbidden Contradiction

Salam aleykum,
I have a question on a hadith I saw at the site of Uhud and I was wondering if anyone can explain it to me.

At the gravesite of Uhud there is a big and blue billboard (you can't miss it) with a hadith from at-Tirmidhi which says:

"The Messenger of Allah s.a.w.s. cursed women who visit graves."

Apart from the discussion we can have on why this big billboard is there and what negative thoughts it evokes about Saudia-Arabia and the treatment of women there in general etc., I was wondering if any knows the authenticity of this hadith. This is one issue.
