i know, uv mentioned wot ur parents were like previously... :? but isnt 'forgiveness' really important in Christianity? and now that ur parents are showing some signs of remorse for how theyv treated u, it would be amazingly christian of u to forgive them, right??
i'm not saying you should be naive and expect everything to be perfect between ur parents and annette, but atleast give them a chance. be as wary as u want, but not disrespectful either.

Yea it would be the Christian thing to do - but i've made exceptions before.
I sincerely do not want to have anything to do with either of them and I dont think their recent "remorse" is even remotely genuine

I'll see I guess... the fact of the matter is if they are genuine - as a matter of logic they can't have a "second chance" I can't just smile and say "ohh okay!" then warp back to 4 years of age and go for round two.
I get the feeling more than anything they are afraid of me. - I'll figure something out though.

I've known she's the one for a long time, just always been too young to do anything about it. Yes she's catholic, my parents probably won't be amused since mom doesn't like her and dad does whatever mom wants because he doesn't want to be bothered, lol kids? I have no idea - haven't met them yet.

Briefly for like a 2 year stretch when I was "more interesting" but that was it... almost never.
We are completely different people, I was a bit of a mistake and I don't think they ever really wanted me around.
So i've not exactly been a welcome addition to their lives.
Now that mom isn't a dippy trophy wife anymore and realized that i'm pretty much the only real thing she's got she has been trying to get on my good side. I have no intention of letting that work.

Probably Catholic... I don't really care.
lol there was no relationship to begin with... I don't see how one can recover that.
My parents relationship with me is much like your relationship with one of those books on your shelf that you bought but never read.
You notice it - usually dismiss it or ignore it, however if it's not around you get the strange feeling something is missing.
