There was some as it was seen as potentially trying to get others to follow and take Gordon Brown down. And her friend quit claiming she was being used as window dressing. Add them two together and I get the impression she is only regretful because she failed.

Wasn't there some controversy as to why she left in the first place? (or was that someone else)
