That shudda been put in events section and not here.
Yup, events go in events section. However you could have sneaked it in by saying something like:

"So who's going on sunday?"

Random user says: "Where on Sunday?"

"Romford road etc, etc."

But seriously 'Events Section'.
The status of the Prophet (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa-sallam):

And what we believe is that the status of our Prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa-sallam) is absolutely the highest status of the creations, and that he is alive in his grave with the life of the barzakh, higher than the life of the shuhadaa' that has been mentioned in the Revelation, because he is better than them without doubt. And that he hears the Muslim's sending greetings (salaam) on him, and that it is sunnah to visit him, however it is not allowed to set out on a journey except to visit the masjid and pray in it, and if he intends along with that to visit the grave of the Prophet (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa-sallam), then there is no objection.

And whoever spends his most precious time in sending the prayers (salaah) on him ('alayhis-salaatu was-salaam) according to the manner narrated from him, then he has succeeded in attaining the bliss of both worlds, and it will suffice him from his worries and stress, as it is mentioned in the hadeeth from him.

. . . .

At-Tareeqah as-Soofiyyah:

And we do not reject at-Tareeqah as-Soofiyyah, and the purification of the inner self from the evil qualities of disobedience to Allaah connected to the heart and the limbs, as long as the person abides by the laws of the Sharee'ah and the correct methodology. And we do not try to come up with lengthy justifications for any aberrancies in his statements or actions.

And we do not depend on, ask for help from, seek victory from, or place our trust in all of our affairs except upon Allaah ta'aalaa, for He is Sufficient for us, and what an Excellent Trustee; an Excellent Master and an Excellent Helper. And may Allaah bless Muhammad and his family and companions, and grant them peace.

You — Fri, 4 Aug 2006 - 00:28

Well lets get this upcoming debate over with. There will be none.

You see there is nothing to discuss. Either people follow that author or they do not.

I aint concerned with branding others mushrik or kaafir, so it does not concern me what someone else wrote in a book.

However if I was to point out something I disagreed with, your reply would be that its not your opinion, but the authors. and then flat out refuse to take part in any discussion.

So lets not pretend there is something to discuss.

Medarris — Fri, 4 Aug 2006 - 00:33

Who wants to discuss with any1 here? I learnt my lesson.

I put that up so whoever is interested can read what actually happened when the Ghazis came into hijaaz and exactly what they believed. Its a primary source - viz from the son of Shaykh Ibn AbdulWahhab Rahimahullah.

I aint interested in a debate bruv or a discussion or anything. I know what Im about and thats enough for me.

Sirus — Fri, 4 Aug 2006 - 15:38

LOL....has anyone been on the forum in Med's signature? (note: not sayin anythin about med b4 any1 jumps on my back, im commenting on the forum)

some MAJOR shia-hating going down there, even sections created for it...and some of the avatars and pics in signatures

Sirus — Fri, 4 Aug 2006 - 15:43
its too confuzing, too many sections, dnt no which one to go into!
lol dont read too much no there....a lot of hatred going down for a muslim forum, but i found it interesting

Medarris — Sat, 5 Aug 2006 - 00:12

everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Personally from my experience there is a lot of knowledge and information contained in that forum - behind all the name-calling and comical avatars - there are some serious debates between both muslims and rawaafidh. It just takes a lil time to see it cos of some excess information that is present.
