You have to tell me now.

What do you see?

And what's interesting, that 'smiley' looks very suspicious to me...

MuslimBro โ€” Sat, 15 Jul 2006 - 01:32

It seems like its moving but when you look closer it's not.

That's wierd :? after looking at that pic (full screen) it looks like my whole screen is moving in that flattering motion.

Beast I blame you!

If you talk to him again thank him one more time for all the advice - it's helped me chart my course in unfamiliar territory even during this pregnancy.

We didn't always get on, which is regrettable. He's a good man.

Dave โ€” Tue, 18 Jul 2006 - 01:47

Admin, could you just go ahead and delete the Med V. Constantine thread all together. It's a waste of space.

Do you pull out every wire from your pc, it's easier if you just keep it on

I'm thinking of getting an air cooler for my room. Before I get one I wanted to know if anyone here has one, and if you do is it any good.

I wanted to get a portable air conditioner in my room but it uses up too much electricity (dad won't be pleased when the electric bill comes through the post) and secondly it's quite expensive as I don't wanna spend all the money I've got left.

You โ€” Sun, 23 Jul 2006 - 23:53

Salaam

I have added you to the sisters group, as it may be covered in there.

Without looking for ahadith, I was of the impression that hands below the wrist and feet below the ankles were not required to be covered.

salaam sis,
i replied on the sis' forum but i suppose there's no harm in posting here too - it depends on your madhab (school of thought), in the Hanafi madhab we are not required to cover our feet.

It's right what *dust* has said but to expand on this....

The fatwa position in the Hanafi school is that a woman's feet are not `awra. As such, it is not legally obligatory to cover them in the prayer or outside the prayer.

It is only allowed to uncover the feet up to the ankles. Anything above the ankles is from one's `awra.

However it is obligatory to cover the feet according to other sunni schools, such as the Shafi`is.

In general, the scholars remind us that one should not apply the Shariah as a dry list of do's and don'ts. Rather, we should have the intention that we are following Allah's commands and the guidance of His Messenger (Allah bless him & give him peace), out of love and thanks.
