Anyone know any good mobile phone web browsers? Either based on flash UI or J2ME.
I used to use Opera Mini on my old phone, but it is not really that good with a touch screen phone.
The built in browser in the Viewty has some flaws. You see, it uses the jog dial not to scroll the page, but to zoom in or out. Which fool thought that was a good idea?
internet on phones are just fancy gadgets, they dont really serve a purpose. Its not as if you can actually surf the net on them coz they are sooooo slow.

speak for yourself. My phone has a 3.6mbps connection to the web. My PC has I think around 3.5 mbps.

hey! i'v been using my fone 2 browse th revival since early october...but yeah i'm getting absolutely sick of how slow it is. cant WAIT til my internet is reconnected on 16th november, inshAllah.

i use th built in browser, i didnt even know u could download other browsers. is it free? i got a samsung U600 (I think thats wot its called) it has weird touch sensitive things instead of softkeys. they's annoying cop u dont know whether u pressed th button or not (Doesnt bode well 4 th iphone). th internet aint too slow its just annoying posting anything.

i've got that phone in pink, screen has almost gone. that has happened to all the samsung phones i've had. does anyone else have the same problem or is it just my luck?
never had any problems with samsungs. this is my 3rd. evry motorola i'v had has broken quite quickly. i think nokhas r th most reliable, u could drop a 9 yr old 3210 out of a 2nd floor window & it would still b fine!

Well, get Opera mini, pronto. It will make your life better.
Go to mini.opera.com from your phone browser. choose install. click yes. Close browser, go to applications (or java apps) and click opera.
In settings, turn off images (or reduce the quality if you want to see them), and tick "mobile view" or something. That will load the pages in a decent manner where you just scroll down the page to get to the info you want.
Opera Mini is the best browser for a normal mobile phone. it also compresses pages so your bills may be lower if you do not have a data tarrif or go over on it.
It will still be annoying to post, but browsing will be less so.

After using opera 4 almost a day, all i can say is WOW that is so much better! That should make my last week of being internetless a lot better! Thanks.
1 question: why aren't fones bundled with good browsers? I'm sure alot more ppl would use their fones 4 internet if they did
