Is it me, or as United starting to drop off?

More and more uncinvincing performances...

Earlier in the season even when they drew or lost the actual performances were top notch.

Not they are winning with poor performances. Something Champions needs to do, but it should be a last gasp thing, not too often.

Maybe the brilliance has a price.

Arsenal and Celtic are off the list. Well done everyone, for not voting Arsenal or Celtic.

Quarter-final draw
AC Milan v Bayern Munich
(First leg 3 April, second leg 11 April)
PSV Eindhoven v Liverpool
(First leg 3 April, second leg 11 April)
Roma v MANCHESTER UNITED
(First leg 4 April, second leg 10 April)
Chelsea v Valencia
(First leg 4 April, second leg 10 April)
Semi-final draw

Roma or MANCHESTER UNITED v AC Milan or Bayern Munich
(First leg 24 April, second leg 2 May)
Chelsea or Valencia v PSV Eindhoven or Liverpool
(First leg 25 April, second leg 1 May)

So Manchester United and Chelsea are in the semis. Liverpool are almost certainly through to play Chelsea and Bayern Munich looks likely to play United but we'll know tomorrow.

Bayern Munich 0-2 AC Milan (agg 2-4)

Liverpool 1-0 PSV (agg 4-0)

So Liverpool play Chelsea as expected. Chelsea are obviously a great team with a recent habit of stealing games in the dying seconds, but on this form I wouldn't bet against Liverpool either.

And Manchester United play AC Milan. This comfortable away win gives me the jitters, but United should still demolish them.

We are almost certainly looking at an all-English final, with all of the major silverware quite possibly down to fixtures between United and Chelsea. This is a very exciting season.

Just imagine the last 4 games of the season

CL final: Man U - Chelsea
FA Cup Final: Man U - Chelsea
2nd to last match of the season: Man U - Chelsea

Those are now make or break matches. If both teams get to the finals.

I would rather Man U play Liverpool (who can beat Chelsea). Easier win. Blum 3

But AC Milan can be a major upset. For me.

Man U won't get past Milan.

Chelsea most likely will be too strong for Liverpool.

Milan v Chelsea.

im rooting for AC milan cos i'm an Arsenal supporter (plz dont laugh at me)

Don't just do something! Stand there.

Il have to disagree with everyone here:

Liverpool will beat Chelski

AC Milan will thrash Manure Utd

and it will be a repeat of the 2005 final

Liverpool vs. Chelsea is tonight at 7.45. Biggrin Let's support Liverpool to win so that if Man Utd beat AC Milan tomorrow they won't play Chelsea for both the Champions League and the FA Cup. (Bit of variety, and also the odds of beating them twice are a bit scary.)

13 minutes till kick off

i don't care what anyone says today is going to be Liverpool's night, why?Cuz we are at Anfield in front of our wonderful KOP and Gerrard is going to score this is the only competition we can realistically win so we are going to give it our best shot.

I agree with Mr Honey we so going to win Champions league aint for chelsea, its for big teams and chelsea dont qualify as a big team.

Will add more later after the match, hopefully its a win for LIVERPOOL

Good thing liverpool are through - hard to beat the same team three times in a row.

Now we just need to beat chelsea twice (Prem + FA cup) and then Liverpool. Easy.

Both teams were awful today.

Both teams played an entertaining game flat out for over two hours and that's always respectable. The penalties were marvellous and exacted justice over the beautiful disallowed Liverpool goal in extra time. Liverpool earned the victory fair and square. Mourinho's stunned expression in the post-match interview was priceless. I felt he was more interested in defending his record than saying anything accurate about the performance, and who can blame him? I do like Mourinho. Well done Liverpool.

Now come on United!

Were you watching the same match as me?

Neither team had drive.

Admittedly I never saw the starting but the bits I saw both lacks determination.

They should have both lost.

My analysis is of the first half, extra time and penalties. I fell asleep for quite a bit during half-time.
