A friend of mine (the same one who spends the entire night in prayer) was telling me about this Islamic course for a year that she wishes to go to which is in the UK…
She told me the other day that her parents are not letting her go so she’ll just go anyway..
She used the example of when two people who are in love and wish to be with one another…they defy their parents and run away together….she goes she’s in love with pursuing Islamic knowledge and that her love is justified.
I disagree….. worship that inconveniences others can not be accepted in the court of Allah (swt).
How can her being in an Islamic institute be accepted if her parents are at home stressing about where she is?
Her intentions are honourable and I pray that Allah (swt) makes it easy for her to pursue the path that she has chosen…however, I told her that I can not cover up for her …
I’m all for being a “religious rebel” I rate them girls who may put their Hijaab/Niqab one at the top of the road…or go to Islamic programmes whilst their parents think that they’re out with mates etc etc
However, its all good as long as the parents do not find out and are not stressed over their actions.

if she has the truest intention to go, and tries her utmost - then she will get the sawaab as if she did go.

I totally agree.
That's what I told her too.
I know this isn't easy..however, I know that things can only get easier.
Ones intention/determination etc plays a huge part in how far one goes in life...

things arent always all good for everyone
if u hang around with converts-they have bare intresting stories

a friend of a freind converted from hinduism to islam. thnk it has been a couple of years and he has unofficially changed his name too.
his family has no idea, although his best mate is muslim and has taught him and helped him convert.
it would upset his family, but he is following what he believes
