how many people here have gone on to do degrees, which degree and at what uni? :?:
i need to improve my plagerism techniques
My tactic never fail in the first year at uni. They was always a whole load of printers where everyone used to collect their printed work. Just stalk that area, pretending you waiting for your work to be printed, and you guarantee too get someone who doing the same essay as you. Take it and copy the best bits and keep going back did you got yourself a nice piece of work going. But I only used to do this when there was a last day panic and when desperate. But in the second and third year, u have to put the effort in or you destine to fail or do really badly.

i like that idea! but ive done the 1st year without the need to stalk printers....myt jus try it next year tho#

as Asr prayer time draws closer, i cant make it back home in time from work to read Zuhr. so today i made an intellectual guess as to where the Kabah shareef was and read Zuhr.
found an empty room and read there
halfway thru my prayers, this guy from the floor below came up to see me....it was clear i was praying my salaah but he started talkin to me! i didnt knw what to do :?
bieng the only muslim in my office makes work hard, the conversations around here and obscene and quite often filthy. at times i wished i didnt work here, but strength lies within and i carry on...ignoring these people.
does anyone face difficulties bieng a good muslim at work? i find it hard to not swear or get caught up in idle talk....but so far, so good.
one person i know, when converted to Islam, quit work due to the atmosphere and the manager
anyone noticed how there's three age groups in the revival?
the "younger lot" aged 17-19 which consists of people such as the Muslim Kuri's, them three sisters from up north, me, chm1, Hayder
then the "middle aged lot" aged 20-21 which consists of people such as Seraph, Garfield, my sister, angel, Dave, yash, Fred, Aasiyah etc
and then the "older lot" which consists of the grandfathers such as Mr Admin, Mr Ed and the omro
opps I said Seraph/Garfields name twice
thanks for pointing it out
yep Fred is Irfan-I'm thinking of adding him to the grandfather age group even though he comes in the "middle age" group

Why Its Depressing To Be A Giant
1-Shorter people are less prone to injuries partly because there is less stress on joints and bones. For example, when a 20 per cent taller person trips, he or she hits the ground with 210 per cent more force than a shorter person.
2- A lot of recent research has agreed shorter people tend to live longer in general and that longevity generally increases for decreasing height up until the point where a person becomes unusually short. For example, one insurance company study based on 4.2 million people found that short women (150-163cm) had a 30 per cent lower death rate than taller women.
3-Taller people are at greater risk from cancer; for example there is evidence that taller men are at greater risk from prostate cancer and taller women are at greater risk from breast cancer. No-one knows exactly why, but one simple theory is as a 183cm tall man has more than 50 per cent as many cells as a 152cm tall man. The more cells in your body, then there are that many more potential sites for cancer to be initiated from carcinogenic pollution or other risks in the environment.

It's so depressing to be short, they need their own support website.
Short men and women face challenges in their daily lives. Research has shown that short men have fewer opportunities for romantic relationships, have fewer children, and on average are paid less. Finding adult fashion clothes is difficult. Short women report that they are not taken as seriously as their taller peers.

Its very demoralising when BOSS alter or deletes your words.
This has happened to many people here.
I respect the rules, when there are any.
When you are going to make the rules, then set them, and follow them.
Dont be making them up as you go along.
This is not nice. Now you know.
Omrow

Well isn't that judgemental - JUST because I am a big guy you assume I am bullying people rather than setting them straight.
Typical short person.
