I think you'll find londons filled with far more weirdo's (just look at eastenders) so many they've probably got a whole area to themselves.
I dont think most areas of man are dodgy (just you and your fear of the dark) stay away from city centre and Chorlton St and you'll be fine. Places that are packed with people is usually safe e.g. Wimy... but not sure now'adays with everything thats been going on.

i love eating there at night with family-
but other then the places of munch-that road aint got nothing going for it
it dont beat our green street
btw how come most restuarnts sell alcohol?
me and sis wer looking for a place to munch-workers were coming ot of their shop asking us to eat in their resturant
i told them straight that i dont eat in places which serves alcohol and cater for smelly drunks

i think only Sanam dont serve alcohol

Yeah, there are quite a few places that serve alcohol im afraid. As well as catering for the Asian community they have to also cater for alot of western or alcohol drinking people.
Well that and a far bit of the good restaurants are owned by the same guy.
And yes Hayder thats Gay Central... and unfortuneately yes its very close to Man Uni.

we were shocked-cos NO asian restaurnats that I know of in London serve alcohol
they may think that they're getting more customers this way
but they are losing valuable customers like Moi 8)

"This article was first published in The Revival; April 2002 as AliG in da House! as a spoof interview with Ali G. It has been edited to remove some controversial humour, and change of characters."

If someone with multiple personalities threatens to kill himself, is it considered a hostage situation?

No Seraph that's just rediculous.
It's if they threaten to kill one of their other personalities that it's a hostage situation.
So I was trying to figure out who had this quote about doing the right thing (turned out to be Leroy Johnson) and I stumbled across this website.
http://www.geocities.com/ecoshistarus/index.html
Now normally I am not the type of person to pick on girls (unless they are lilsis) but this is garbled nonsense.
The name of the webpage is "Gina Gershon Did The Right Thing" and - sure enough there is a picture of Gina Gershon with a curious symbol superimposed.
For those of you who do not know who Gina Gershon is - save yourself the trouble of looking her up.
Apparently she is a "Hollywood Actress" that specializes in taking off her close and has a penchant for women - in a non "sisterly" way.
Her other hobbies include getting high with rock stars, getting drunk with rock stars, getting high AND drunk with rock stars, and getting high, drunk or high and drunk all alone.
So what, then, was it that Gina Gershon did that was so right?
Well you aren't going to get an answer from that website, the english translation appears to be about leaning the rhythm of english - indeed nowhere else on the website does she explain the title.
This is where it gets interesting.
I actually emailed her to find out what the deal was.
I got a longwinded response about education, doing the right thing, gina gershon and the "rhythm of english"
The thing of it is, it too was garbled - and I am not talking about syntax, obviously japanese to english is hard to understand, but the concepts were so totally unrelated I was forced to conlude that the girl was just plane insane.
See if you can figure it out.

salam everyone!
I am sittin here at wrk half an hour early cuz i thot my shift started now, i could have done with another 30min sleep as i only had 2 hrs sleep!
We were in stupid manchesta and we got robbed, all my clothes amongst other personal belongings, i gues what can u expect frm that place when u have ppl like hayder stayin there! to make things worse our van broke down so we had to wait for AA and they came 2 hrs later which made us reach home at 4:30am, how the hell i am up for work is beyond me...
But overall seeing shaykh ul islam and goin thru that well what can i say it was well worth it but i was disapointed that at the meetin and at the conference we women did not get a chance to sit in shaykh ul islam's presence throughout the 2 events, i hate men
p.s. It was nice meetin you sis asiyah and muslim kuri as always...asiya was pretty funny when she goes "oh so thats angel" lol my cuz's were all like who's angel!

ROBBED?
how? when? where?!
what do you suggest....send the men upstairs? lol.......and in bradford, didnt the women get to see him at the certifcate ceremony thing? im sure meeting the women was in the agenda.
i still wish he was here, such a blessing to have him in our house

lol, you got robbed... well foreigners what can you say.
You probably had the things on display which is why they were robbed... on the other hand it’s never stopped them b4. No city is without its faults and I think a few years ago some1 quoted a statistic about Manchester, something like the following:
"A car is stolen in Manchester every 2 minutes"
So just be glad they didn’t take the car as well. You just got to be constantly vigilant, but such things happen. Just dust yourself off and try again.

lilsis I will tell you what they took, my pair of clothes, my only second jilbab, my beautiful scarf that sis bought me from syria, my cosmetics, my fone charger and the most important thing my water that Shaykh ul islam had read and done “dum” on and my ruler from madina pak which i had for yrs!
I was annoyed bout the last 2 items otherwise i found it well funny for some odd reason, not really bothered, lol yeh seraph the items were on display which was a mistake on our behalf....
Hayder, i think the men should have been chucked out of the mosque altogether, thats what would have happened if it was up2 me....i enjoyed glasgow’s event more cuz we got the certificates personally from shaykh ul islam and our conference took place in thistle hotel and women had one half of the hall and the other half for the men, thats the way it should be...in manchesta we just had small tele’s and the wee diamond shaped holes that we could look through! Thats why it should be halls that should be booked as opposed to mosques where they dont allow men and women to sit together.

Not surprised some of them do look a little... unapproachable is a safe word.
Yeah i wouldnt recommend walking around at night in manchester on your own... not in the city centre anyway.
