Yep - from simple amoeba from the oceans they developed over billions of years...
The theory isn't bad on the face of it - it doesn't necessarily contradict with faith as one could easily reconcile it if it was proven.
erm how is it not contradicting? :S

perfect as in the way our bodies work so perfectly, every little chemical reaction, the pumping of the heart, the digestive system, the respiratory system etc. how can something that was made randomly work so well?

It's the same with those who shallowly try to bring "scientific proofs" from the Quran to proof it is from God - it makes one cringe!

For example, mo text states that animals were created in a final form and placed on the earth without any evolution process...

As I said earlier, are disabled people perfect?
What about those who are short sighted, have hearing problems...? etc
I've yet to see any text stating we are perfect. Do you know any?

To prove Quran is from God, one does not use scientific proofs - the miracle of quran is not the "alleged" scientific statements...
For example, mo text states that animals were created in a final form and placed on the earth without any evolution process...
what about Adam as?

oh are you talking about how the Qur'an isn't supposed to be a book of scientific knowledge?

That would be more difficult to reconcile - either one would need to resort to metaphoric reasoning or inserting him at the point where humans develop.

That's one valid point.
The other one is that where Allah mentions aspects of the universe, it is the visible aspects that the people at the time of the Prophet(saw) could understand in order to deduce Allah exists by looking at his signs. It was not proof that Quran is from God. That had a separate miracle to prove it.
She wasn't asking you how easy it was. She was asking how you actually do reconcile them.
Evolution and humans/prophet Adam (as).
It is an interesting question and I would also like to see your view.

Not really - as the process of reconciliation would be complicated... any simple explanation will raise more questions than answers... but if you had to think about it and had to do it, I'm sure you'd come up with something similar...

True
But it 'works' with some people. It can pull them towards the faith.
If it's based on spurious links etc, is it of value in you opinion (i.e. if it brings people to Islam)?
Don't just do something! Stand there.
