The Revival has always had a tag line "voice of the Muslim Youth!" - but what does it mean?
Does it mean that The Revival is the only voice of the muslim youth, or that 'Ed is the voice of the Muslim Youth? What about me?
To answer it about me - I really doubt that I am. More there is no single voice of the Muslim youth, but many indivitual voices from many young Muslims and combined they are the voices of the Muslim youth
Something that has become apparent recently is that there are some seriously commited Muslims who have strong opinions - some I agree with and defend, others that I will disagree with and maybe even attack.
However both are the voice of the Muslim youth because they are both the voices of individuals who are Muslim and also carry various amounts of youthfulness (in other words they are not old cogs).
Other Muslims can also becomes voices of the Muslim youth - all they have to do is speak up. It does not have to be here on some other platform, but the mere fact of trying to get their voice heard will make them a voice of the Muslim youth.

It's not any one person, it's all the members of the muslim youth who speak up and who want to be heard. with their different veiws & contrasting beleifes in some places. The voice of the youth is well a combination of all the muslims who are youthful & speak out. Sometimes i do get abit confused on here there seems to be alot of older people posting. & well are they the voice of the youth?. Not really it's an islamic voice but isnt this meant to be about the youths? Its not a bad thing elder people posting because well, i've learnt alot since i've bin oh here posting and talking to people. Which well thats great
The latest issue of the magazine, seemed to be direcetd towards the youth, the younger youth like the real kids, about 12 year olds. alot of my friends agreed with that. The older issues of the magazine, maybe because i was about 13 when i first read them were like well it seemed for my age and above really. The magazines are good and alot of effort goes into them, but like wouldn't it be more the voice of the youth if more of the youth were actually involved? I don't know how old Ed is or any of the other writers, but hey, the voice of the youth? Why not encourage, some kids to actually write for you? Or some surveys? Keep in touch with the youth, Mayeb you already so all of this & i'm just rambling on. but yeah. My veiws.
