what u have to realise tho is that even if the person's intentions r good, they will turn more extreme over the years because they will then do anything they can to consolidate their power

Musharraf is the best leader pakistan has had in decades. Probably the only one that has since not been tainted by charges of corruption.
Yes, he was not perfect. For one, the same regimes took over after he left that were there before he arrived and that is a major failure.
