Wah you think?

i think my memories would lie in High School, because despite the odds, it has actually helped in preparing me for my potential future, and with-out them i wouldn't be the same person i am today---even if it happened quite long back...:), As it did help me from being a "very shy and quiet" kind of person to the results of today...where i have NO fear/threat to stand-up for what I BELIEVE in, and effectively present my view on the "subject"--let it be guiding them away from the "stray-way2 of thinking.- lol im not trying to be big-headed, just saying that as a whole i have become a better citizen especially for the cause of Islam..and it's duties WE have to fullfil.
May be Allah (swt) planned for everything to be like this--from the very start--as it is part of the HUGE plan of life...but with just more experiences of situation and knowledge insh-allah-- which is how our "modern-day" lives actually progress---through experience Smile
Subhannalah.....
And Jazakallah-khair for taking your time to read this Smile

i just sometimes wish things could of been better...than what i have to live with, lol especially in High School, ya-allah..it was like the breaking point in my life---when i had endured a lot, but still i do sometimes think that maybe with out this, i wouldn't of been the same, as i do agree that allah (swt) only makes things happen for the betterment of our future---here-after...so i guess it has actually made me a better muslim with in my duties towards islam...but still i did pass my GCSE's with "flying colours" --subhanallah towards that, instead of goin in to the in-appropiate things that most* of my "peers" actually did...i concentrated more on what really mattered..it wasn't what they would think of me, but of what would Allah (swt) would expect of me- like what could of been the reason for my existence---worshiping Allah 9swt0 and doing what is RIGHT!...insha-allah i can "pass" in this test of life and death- for what really matters---THE HERE-AFTER! Smile
Jazakallah Smile

'just'

Could be that a massive slab of writing can be hard to read. short sentences and small paragraphs are a very good thing IMO.

"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.

Why do people say 'high school' ?

Isn't that the American version..of secondary school?

Yes it is, but some people are wannabe gangsta's, innit?

No it not really that , alot of secondary schools are actually name as 'high schools' , mayb its different at all parts of UK

They're not called high schools!

Many are called comprehensive schools.

But anyway, this isn't really the point of the topic, is it?

Don't just do something! Stand there.

Challney high school for boys & challney high school for girls,,, just a couple to name, but challo dont really matter purpose is the same.

Fair enough, I was only asking because Iv seen other people use 'high school' too.

What does 'challo' mean?

It's a paki-ism.

It means "lets walk". And what that means is "ok" (as you only start walking towards a location after you have decided on the location... so its like ok, we've decided, so lets go..)

EDIT - I have decided to ban the word. cha llo will now be replaced with chick peas. lo lz with a full stop(.).

Oh okay, sounds confusing.

Sounded like a type of food to me, like sweets.

Yh it means ok ....but not in walking sense, just as 'ok' 'fine then' hence 'challo' , yh it a paki-ism. lolz.
