Parrots are probably most famous for their ability to imitate different sounds they hear. If you were in the room with your eyes closed, you might find it difficult to tell the difference between a parrot’s "hello" and the "hello" of a human. Unlike humans, parrots do not have vocal cords. Instead, they learn to control the movement of the muscles in the throat to direct the airflow in such a way as to reproduce certain tones and sounds—sometimes even human sounds.
Fascinating.
it is
I used to have a budgie called Sylvestor. He/she (you can't tell with budgies) was SO cool, he/she could balance on my shoulder. I'm sure he/she would've learnt to talk had it not been for his/her premature death.

hmmm a parrot on your shoulder.
Doing a pirate impression were we?
Back in BLACK
I was planning to train him/her to talk for me in case someone ever cut out my tongue.

It turns out... although budgies are intelligent enough to solve complex mathematical and philisophical condumdrums, they *don't* actually realise that there are seeds underneath the empty seem kernels in their bowel (and mum didn't like it flapping about in her hair so I couldn't get another one).
(Insha'Allah I will get one AS SOON as I am settled in a house/flat).

No idea what that means/is referring to.

You know hot a nut has a shell, which is inedible? Well, a seed has a kernal. And all the kernals piled up at the top, and Sylvestor wasn't inquisitive enough to search deep inside the bowel (he was too much of a know-it-all).

LOL probably.
