There is nothing to fear apart from fear itself.
Or is that totally false? Surely fear is a survival instinct where people ignore it at their own peril?
The title and first like is an adaptation of something Dune, where the Bene Gesserit had a "Litany Against Fear":
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
I dont think I agree with the litany from a work of fiction. Fear needs to be respected and listened to, even if not always given in to.
