What's in my head?

I think too much, when i think too much i reflect on my life, when i reflect on my life i become sort of sad, i want to change but do very little to put that change into affect, when i can't (EDIT: don't) make a change i do nothing, when i do nothing i think i should atleast do something (something good), then i fake a smile and it becomes real Smile . Change starts with a positive attitude.

Trust in Allah

Subhanallah! Yesterday was a day i never planned for but Allah had planned for me years before i was born.

Started off like any other day, i was waiting for zuhr salat when my mum informed there's gonna be a janazah at one of my local masjids (not the one i usually attend). I thought, not many will be able to attend due to the daytime where most people are working etc. so i thought i must go and took my brother along with me.

The Legacy of Islam

The Legacy of Islam...

Legacy: leg-a-cy; Anything handed down from the past, as from an ancestor or predecessor ie. the legacy of...

In the name of Allah the most beneficent, the most merciful.

Assalamu alaikum Biggrin

The legacy of Islam starts from Allah (SWT), the first of mankind though to carry on this legacy was Aadam (as). Aadam (as) was the first messenger of Allah (SWT) and his message was Islam. His duty was to spread Islam as it was passed down to him through revelation from Allah (SWT).

This way the message of Islam was spread to the rest of mankind, anyone who accepted the message in turn would also take on the responsibility of spreading Islam and is known as a muslim (one who submits his will to Allah).

Subhanallah an amazing lecture on how as a community we should attract MUSLIMS to Islam. From how to deal with your parents to how the imams should deal with the youth, he covers it all.

Must Watch insha Allah. You'll only benefit. Smile

Eid Mubarak :D

Eid Mubarak to one and all (whether you celebrate today or tomorrow). Ramadan was a month where we insha Allah got closer to Allah swt. For our ibaadah, our sabr and our effort to overcome our desires Allah has rewarded us with this blessed day. Subhanallah!

Let this be a day where we continue to show our gratitude to Allah swt. Let it not be a day where we incurr Allah's anger and wrath.

May Allah bless you and your family. Have a great Eid

Khutba given by the Prophet (Saw) regarding Ramadan -baihaqi

Assalamu alaikum All,

The Khutba given by the Prophet (S) regarding Ramadan -baihaqi
----------------------------
"O People! The month of Allah (Ramadan) has come with its mercies, blessings and forgiveness. Allah has decreed this month the best of all months. The days of this month are the best among the days and the nights are the best among the nights and the hours during Ramadan are the best among the hours.

This is a month in which you have been invited by Him (to fast and pray). Allah has honoured you in it. In every breath you take is a reward of Allah, your sleep is worship, your good deeds are accepted and your invocations are answered.
