so are u happy with this one? what do you like about it?

if not, what do u not like about this site?

how can this site be improved?

which are your favourite sites?why?

would u be in favour of a totally new site?

ENGLISH DEFENCE LEAGUE MARCH- MANCHESTER OCT 10

An email I got from Grerater Manchester Police:

A demonstration will take place in Manchester city centre on Saturday 10 October 2009.

It is being organised by the English Defence League, whose aim is to protest against Islamic extremism.

Organisers of this protest have contacted Greater Manchester Police and informed us they plan to hold a demonstration on that day.

There are also plans for a counter protest by the Unite Against Fascism group in the city centre on the same day.

Both groups will hold their demonstrations in the afternoon at a time when families and shoppers will be visiting the city centre in large numbers.

I am constantly asked by many ppl for many years now if I know anyone looking for marriage; so i think i'm finally gonna create a database and try to help people who are looking for marraige. I have parents approaching me desperate in their search for compatible partners for their kids. It seems to be so hard nowadays especially if you dont wanna go on matrimonial sites/ date/wanna go back home and get married to your cousin!

So if you/ or anyone else are looking then pls email me your/their relevent details and what kind of partner you/they are looking for. Inshallah with enough ppl finding a compatible match should'nt be too hard.

What do you think of this idea? As previously ppl i have discussed it with discouraged me from going ahead with this:-)

Ninth Annual Ceremony recognises the very best of British Muslim Achievement
Over 800 people celebrated the ninth Annual The Muslim News Awards for Excellence - Britain's longest standing Muslim awards event - Monday at London’s Grosvenor House. The coveted award ceremony recognised the very best of Muslim contribution to British society.

The special Judges award went to Birmingham-based graffiti artist Mohammed Ali. The other 16 winners are listed below.

The Guest of Honour, Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O'Connor, the Archbishop of Westminster, said, “In a short space of time the Awards have established themselves as a significant event for the Muslim community.”

WANTED - SCHOLARS OF AHLUS SUNNAH WAL JAMA'AH

We see them in prisons, being tortured, persecuted and extradited. We also see them on the run and being chased by the authorities. Who are they? They are the scholars of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamah. What are they wanted for? The only crime they have committed is that they believe in Allah (swt), fearlessly speak the truth and carry the message of Islam. Simply, these scholars are part of
the vanguard of light and righteousness, radiating the path of Islamic Monotheism and exposing corrupted beliefs of Polythiesm.

SEX EDUCATION IN STATE SCHOOLS

Last autumn the Government announced that lessons about personal, social and health matters including sex and relationships will be compulsory in all England's schools from ages 5 to 16. As Muslim parents, teachers and school governors, the subject of Sex and Relationship Education (SRE) has always been an uncomfortable one. On the one hand we are aware of falling moral standards but
on the other hand, the lack of response from the Muslim community is leading to our children developing dual personalities.
