Muslim anger grows at Pope speech

A statement from the Vatican has failed to quell criticism of Pope Benedict XVI from Muslim leaders, after he made a speech about the concept of holy war.

Speaking in Germany, the Pope quoted a 14th Century Christian emperor who said Muhammad had brought the world only "evil and inhuman" things.

Radicalisation of young Muslims

Five years on from 9/11, BBC journalist Peter Taylor has been investigating the effect of the "War on Terror" on young Muslims.
In the first of two special programmes, he revealed how the US and UK governments are in denial over how their policies may have been contributing factors.

Here, he answers some of your questions.

Q: Are the Islamic fundamentalists trying to force their religion on the rest of the world?

SHA'BAAN AND THE NIGHT OF BARA'AT

Assallamu Allaikum

SHA'BAAN AND THE NIGHT OF BARA'AT

Sha'ban is one of the meritorious months for which we find some
particular instructions in the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad, Sall-Allahu
alayhi wa sallam. It is reported in the authentic ahadith that Prophet
Muhammad, Sall-Allahu alayhi wa sallam, used to fast most of the month
in Sha'ban. These fasts were not obligatory on him but Sha'ban is the
month immediately preceding the month of Ramadan. Therefore, some
preparatory measures are suggested by Prophet Muhammad, Sall-Allahu
alayhi wa sallam.

Do you have faith in the Police?

Salaam

After recent events do you still have faith in the police?

Do you or have you ever thought of working for the Police?

Do you think the Police are doing a good and fair job in the UK?

Do you agree with Police Profiling of Asians and Muslims in the UK, especially after 7/7 and the alleged airport terror plot?

Shouldn't Muslims co-operate with the Police to fight crime, extremism and terrorism?

Don't you think the police have an extremely difficult job and Muslims criticise them too easily?

Pls discuss...
