Mars confectionary no longer vegetarian

Salaam everyone, Some information for all the chocolate lovers out there. You may have already heard about it but here's the list. Please pass this to as many people as possible. Jazaakallah.

An email/news update from Mars customer service sent to the Vegetarian Society:

No Mars chocolate brands produced from tomorrow onwards are vegetarian - This includes Galaxy, Mars, Bounty, Celebrations, Maltesers, Milky Way, Revels, Snickers, Topic and Twix.

“Due to a change in the ingredients used in our chocolate recipes from 1st May 2007 many of our products now contain whey.

Personal Problem ?

Let me start by saying that that I'm a friendly and outgoing person a free spirit if you will. It's difficult for me not to get along with everyone. I recently started college and I have had a hard time getting along with the Muslim youth especially the women. I recently joined an Islamic club which includes males and females that share a classroom. A couple days ago there was an incident several female members were in the classroom planning a fund raiser and some of the male members came into the classroom a told us to leave.

There is a shortage of school governors and it is difficult to find a Muslim governor in a state schools. A campaign has started to recruit more and more Muslim governors. In 2003, there were only 53 Muslim schools and now there are more than 126 full-time Muslim schools and more are in the pipe line because of racism and anti-Muslim feeling in state schools. The silent majority of Muslim parents would like to send their children to Muslim schools.
