muslim youth group

had this in the events forum but it got no views so i moved it here.
does anyone know if theres a muslim youth group in the Barking and Dagenham area? if not then is there anyone here who would fancy creating our own youth group in the area. just get together, disscuss stuff, maybe get a youth worker in (my dad done something on youth work, could ask him), and just connect with other young muslims.
any writers out there too, looking for fellow young muslim writers.

UK trade unions overwhelmingly pass [israeli] boycott vote

In a landmark decision, Britain's trade unions have voted overwhelmingly to commit to build a mass boycott movement, disinvestment and sanctions on Israel for a negotiated settlement based on justice for Palestinians.

The motion was passed at the 2009 TUC Annual Congress in Liverpool today (17 September), by unions representing 6.5 million workers across the UK.

Al Qods means the holy city of Jerusalem.

Qods rallies are held across the world to support Palestinians. Every last Frida in Ramadan is dedicated to our brothers and sisters who are under the occupation of brutal Israeli forces. May Allah curse the zionists and their helpers.
I am watching Press TV, sky channel 515 that is showing live demo in Tehran and Mashed. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (may Allah give him long life) addresses the world ffrom Tehran University friday prayers.

Gaza's water supply near collapse

RAMALLAH, occupied West Bank (IPS) - The International Committee of the Red Cross has warned that Gaza's access to safe supply of drinking water could cease at any time. The World Health Organization (WHO) says outbreaks of disease could be triggered as a consequence.

The warnings follow a United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) report Monday that "Gaza's underground water system is in danger of collapse after recent conflict compounded by years of overuse and contamination."

"An outbreak of Hepatitis A and parasitic infections could occur at any time," Mahmoed Daher from WHO in Gaza told IPS. "Already the number of people, especially children, suffering from diarrhea has risen dramatically."
