I'm doing a feature about Art and artists from a Muslim background
Not necessarily ISLAMIC art per se, but all kinds, but predominantly, I want artists from a Muslim background - they don't have to be practicing as such but of that background.

Desert Echo Daff School is happy to announce it's first workshop up in the North of England.

What?? - Desert Echo Daff School teaches the traditional beats to the Daff. We have experienced teachers who seek to inspire you and allow you to experience the rich heritage of Islamic singing.

When?? - Monday 26th August 2010 11.30am - 3.30pm

No prior experience required, this is a beginners course.
