I was thinking this because of how Cameron's bunch have reacted during this whole niqab scenario. They've really been the only ones pointing out the oppurtunism and stupidity of Blair's allies around this issue.
In general I think muslims should seek to allie themselves with certain sections of the conservative establishment and also with conservative religious groups like Orthodox jews and Catholics.
Whilst most Tories did stay put of the "debate" David Davis did say that Muslims are sensitive to criticism and in danger of imposing a voluntary apartheid. And Anne Widdecombe, Boris Johnson, and Michael Gove aren't too fond of Muslims either.
Having said that, Muslim should join the Conservative party in order to get them to be less hostile and less narrow-minded. Only then will the Tories be an attractive alternative to Labour.
For the time being the Lib Dems are pushing the right buttons when it comes to foreign policy and civil liberties.
Wasn't he the one that lost?
Voluntary apartheid? What's next self persecution? The whole point about apartheid is that it was enforced. Black people and white people in South Africa still don't mix by choice.
I don't think Anne Widdecombe or Boris Johnson are particularly problematic.Michael Gove however is a zionist nut bag who was calling for regime change in Iraq, Iran and Saudi before 9/11.He isn't a particularly promenant figure however and after Iraq completely fails I doubt there will be much of an audience for his opinions anymore.
