A website that aims to bring together those working with Muslim youth was launched on Saturday 23rd October, at the GPU conference, ExCel, London.

With the ambitious motto of 'the one-stop shop for those working with Muslim youth', the Connect Online website is an expansion of the highly successful quarterly newsletter Connect, which has developed into a resource providing news, a blog, articles, projects, videos, research and policy information, and many other resources for those working with Muslim youth.

Connect Online founder Tafazal Mohammad said: "The website is a fantastic resource for youth and community workers, teachers, social workers, health professionals and anyone else working with Muslim youth. It aims to gather all onto one platform to explore and learn together in this area of emerging practice."

Mr Mohammad added: "It is essential that we are able to share resources, hear the views, success stories, and ideas of all working with Muslim youth to develop together as a community of practice."

Connect online is completely free to join. Through the website it is hoped that many individuals and organisations across the UK can come together to best fulfill the needs of the Muslim Youth.

"We need to hear from the huge diversity of groups across the country, big and small, and encourage everyone to contribute and connect online" said Mohammad.
