Girl Talk!
This is a girly thread for girly talk...if ur a girly boy then u may post here.
Someone mentioned to me that jeans are "haraam" cos it is copying Kufaar and also cos boys wear jeans and girls are not supposed to dress like boys
But jeans are unisex-arent they?
Like socks, girls AND boys wear them
Another Q how much would u pay for the shoes below? Would u pay more then £30?
yeh well proper indian saris have blouses cut short to reveal the waist, muslims can have long-sleeved long blouses which dont show any skin though. BUT my point was, the sari is wrapped in such a way that its figure-hugging anyway... :?
I agree. I cant imagine a sari looking "loose" either. It would fall down if it was. :?
I would only ever wear a Sari to a women's only gathering. It looks so beautiful especially with heels.
Regarding nose studs...Pakistan is the best place for them. Whenever dad goes I always ask him to bring me some. I've seen the ones in H Samual the dimonte is not attached properly so it falls of quickly....
And regarding hair, hot oil is the best thing for it. I've promised myself to massage hot oil in my hair a fews hours before I wash it...even though the look and smell of it disgusts me.
Girl Talk!
Almond oil is also good for hair too and it doesn't smell that bad compared to mustard oil.

OR anything vaguely girly... 😛
guess wot i realised the other day - Pakistani shalwar kameez are way better than Indian ones! in terms of how stylish they are and stuff.
coz i always thought me and shalwar kameez dont go, (much to the dismay of my daddy) 😉 but the other day i wore one that my Paki mate got for me from there, and it actually looked good!
so looks like a trip to Pakistan is due... 😉

just came back frm ilford lane-had hair to cut, bangles to buy, for Eid and needed to do shopping for mum
we were stopped by the camera crew and presenter of Islam channel who wanted sis to give an Eid message to his viewers and chat about Eid
AS IF!!
nothing is more cheesier then them people u see on "Zee TV" and other asian channels chatting about Eid on telly
we legged it from them and every time we saw them on ilford lane we'd leg it the opposite direction
btw everyone ready for Eid?
Girl Talk!
I'm kinda ready. I got my haircut just before the barbers decided to institute their 'Special Eid Offers'.
Just need to get clothes now.

It was a short back and sides grade 2. Plus, I got my beard trimmed to grade 2.
But he thinned by moustache a little too much. And he didn't really make a straight lined under the cheeckbone - had to do it myself when I got home.
There were some 'gangsters' in the shop whilst I was there and they recounting tales of what they got up to the other day - very sad.
It cost £8.50. If I'd waited another two days I could paid over a tenner.

bloody expensive-my bro gets his hair cut every couple of weeks and the standard rate here is £4
he gets the typical step cut
I thought B'ham was lot cheaper then london
Girl Talk!
Having the beard done costs extra.
Next time i'll trim it myself.
