Subjects of conversation

haha! im so untisocial i need to ask this on a forum topic.

so...
if you're not going to talk
music
boys
fashion
makeup

what can you talk about?

You spelt subjects wrong in the title.

I spoke to two random people today.

The first person: we talked about:
-what her job was
- how long she had lived in the UK
- why she had left her son in India
- where he was born
- how did she deliver him
- what her husband did
- who her childhood friends were
- who did she compete with
- would she have another child
- what her lecture was on
- was it boring
- what her culture was like
- and then I wished her all the best with her lecture and left

Second random person: he was asleep and i recognised him so woke him up
- hi
- why are you asleep at 5pm
- i have nothing to do, can we chat
- how are lectures
- so you're muslim
- do you find that there may be any conflicts
- how come you went out with a catholic girl
- do your parents know
- why do you take drugs
- where were you born?
- how many brothers and sisters do you have
- why are you doing the course you want to do

and then i started zoning out

I spoke to two random people today.

The first person: we talked about:
-what her job was (well actually..we can talk job...kinda...)
- how long she had lived in the UK
- why she had left her son in India
- where he was born
- how did she deliver him
- what her husband did
- who her childhood friends were (why would you talk about that??)
- who did she compete with (??????????)
- would she have another child
- what her lecture was on (a-levels are boring to compare..)
- was it boring
- what her culture was like (BUT...95% bengali...i might run out of surprise faces...)
- and then I wished her all the best with her lecture and left (replace lecture with A-levels)

Second random person: he was asleep and i recognised him so woke him up
- hi
- why are you asleep at 5pm
- i have nothing to do, can we chat
- how are lectures

- so you're muslim
- do you find that there may be any conflicts (ohh i like!)
- how come you went out with a catholic girl (are are you dating. end of)
- do your parents know... a lot of things?
- why do you take drugs (maybe this could be replace with a "why do you [do something forbidden in islam]
- where were you born?
- how many brothers and sisters do you have
- why are you doing the course you want to do

and then i started zoning out

You dont need to force conversation. Let it happen. Or not happen.

the "not happen" is guetting noticed...
its not about forcing convo, its about talking about stuff that arent..you know..."boys, makeup, fashion, shopping, music"

ANOTHER TAB? But hten my ratio or revival to non revival tabs will increase! (or decrease, whichever way) i cant DO that!

Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?

Does nobody want to hear about the indian woman and how she delivered her baby?

I talk about the weather! Hardly anyone does that anymore!

Jihad of the Nafs (The Struggle of the Soul)

there's some friends you talk about the weather with coz there's nothing else to talk about

there's some friends you talk about the weather with coz you're comfortable with each other.

I noticed that.

the weather...

or we could talk basketball?
running?
and any other hobbies

Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?

You can talk about books, cuz you like reading don't you?
Talking to new people at college: what subjects are you doing? what career path would you like to take/goals in life. etc etc.

Today i shared a taxi and the driver knew us. He was like asking the girls questions then he asked me if i knew him. I said no but turns out i do know him. Anyway he was like you're [all] so quiet, you should be louder and talk, you know me don't you? why are you scared of me?
i swear he freaked me out, i couldn't help thinking he's gna abduct me and like be some sort of paedophile...:| i mean i don't even know the guy why does he want some full-on conversation with me?!

To add some balance in the world, you could discuss how the Illuminati and Arrivals is a load of crap! i swear my friend made a new friend just by discovering they both new about this conspiracy theory and how it's So scary and whatever
