Your god is whoever or whatever occupies your mind most of the time.
Your god can be your children (7:190), your spouse (9:24), your business (18:35), or your ego (25:43).
This is why I note that one of the most important and most repeated commandments in the Quran is:
"O you who believe, you shall remember God frequently; glorify Him day and night." [33:41]
Your God can even be Muhammad, your imam or even your scholar. And God will NEVER accept the famous excuse “I only thought about him more to get closer to you”.
If you’re really sad your God is the revival, to be honest I can only ever imagine that would be Admins or Ed’s God…
So who is on your mind most of the time?
God?
Soccer?
Girls?
Or something else?
salaam
the above text is very insulting and blasphemous for Muslims. What do you mean:

Your God can even be Muhammad, your imam or even your scholar.
Our God is One- Allah. End of....
If someone treats the Prophet, their shaykh, a football star as a God then that is something different...
so Judda clarify yourself....
and where are these quotes from:
Your god can be your children (7:190), your spouse (9:24), your business (18:35), or your ego (25:43).
btw...who is YOUR God?
wasalaam
My God is the one that occupies my mind the most…
The quotes are from the Koran…
What you put in the hearts of others; is what goes back into your own heart…
salam my god is allah the creator of all things
in the heaven and in the earth
he is the one who no's our every move
salam
Kasim
Yeah sure the post was insulting, but NOT blasphemous…
if it was from the Koran how can it be blasphemy?
Please do not accuse other muslims of kufr.
If someone accuses you, answer them, or pm me.

The Lover is ever drunk with love;
He is free, he is mad,
He dances with ecstasy and delight.
Caught by our own thoughts,
We worry about every little thing,
But once we get drunk on that love,
Whatever will be, will be.

Ok i have checked out wat u posted and will post wat i think u should have posted.
firstly (7:190) 'But when he giveth them a goodly child, they ascribe to others a share in the gift they have recieved: but allah is exalted high above the partners they ascribe to him.'
secondly, (9:24) ' Say: if it be that your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your mates, or your kindred, the wealth that ye have gained, the commerce in which ye fear a decline, or the dwellings in which ye delight - are dearer to you than Allah, or his Messenger, or the striving in his cause - then wait until Alla brings about his decision: and Allah guides not the rebellious. '
thirdly (18:35) ' He went into his garden in a state (of mind) unjust to his soul: he said ' i deem not that this will ever perish.'
fourthly (25:43) 'Seest thou such a one as taketh for his god his own passion (or impulse)? Couldst thou be a disposer of affairs for him?'
This is the translation of the aya's u have posted and i will say that try and make an effort to read up on shirk as this is the only sin that Allah will not forgive.

The ed's are quick to lock intresting threads but let disrepectful threads continue
and then they wonder why they get accused of blasphemy

I am getting the impression that Jedda does not know what worships is.
This can only means that he does not know what, or who, he worships.
Omrow
He's apparently from some sect calling themselves the 'Submitters'. Check the 'Do you believe in a blood thirsty god?' thread.
Submitters who have very wrong twisted beliefs!
p.s. personally i think the guy aint muslim, i think he is just stirin up trouble and givin his false beliefs and chek the way he misquotes the Quran and that webiste, bloody hell!
EDIT BY ADMIN
Try writing that again WITHOUT calling others mushrik.

Judda are you referring to those who worship (i.e obey/listen to) their desires, their parents, children, etc etc instead of obeying their Creator?
The Qur’an does mention those people who are slaves to their desires.
If so, then this is an interesting thread. Cos we've limited our unlimited Creator to the Mosque only...
He (swt) doesnt dominate our thoughts and actions as much as He (swt) should...
Wasalaam
I am not a submitter, my brother is…
Yes that’s what I mean!
What you put in the hearts of others; is what goes back into your own heart…
then why didnt u say it like that
ur post sounded blasphemous
intresting thread tho-I'm sad to say that God is not on my mind 24/7
only when I read my prayer or listen to mums lectures
