YUP......EVERYTHING noori said!!

live and let live!!!!!!!

just watched the vid ED. It's true..........in pakistan bollywood films are banned on tv and the song are not allowed any air time on the radio...but it is unbelievable how many of them still manage to get the LATEST dvd!!!!!! And what really angeres me is that they all watch with the kids presents!! That was the other reason y i didn't want to settle there!!!

More filth in pk than here.........and yet there are all these restrictions in place!

Jus do not let your kids watch all that!!! I didn't watch it as a kid and now I can't stand bollywood!! I don't think my children know what channel B4u is on!!! But I'm also worried about some of the things on the kiddies channels now too..........all this boyfriend girlfriend stuff!

shall I get rid of the tv?? But then wot do I do??!!!

live and let live!!!!!!!

Yeah ditch the TV. It's just a waste of time.

First and foremost the ideas and images they potray are against Islam, against modesty, against decency....they may just maybe considered as harmless if they didnt affect anyone but this is far from the truth, many people look up to these role models be it through their lifestlye in the movies or through dressing, they are influenced by them.

The dangerous thing here is we are taking these role models who stand against everything that we are taught in Islam and we have forgotten true role models such as Hazrat Khatijah (ra), Hazrat Aisha (ra), Hazrat Fatima (ra) etc. Do we want to bring up our future generations in the hands of those filthy movies? It may seem extreme but its true, whatever children see from day one they look up to it and follow it. If children are taught immodesty then that is what they shall follow and if they are taught modesty and decency then that is what they will seek.

Ed loves Amitabh bachen

what a loser Lol

what!!!!
where did that comes from?

"waqt with amitabach bachen-funniest film i have ever seen"

ring a bell?

last time i watched one...i was a kid i think, i can't remember that's how long it's been. But they're all the same, lack imagination, creativity, originality what's the point in watching them?

But as for being filthy, well they're sexually explicit, violent, and all the rest of it but so are hollywood films, but some how we seem to accept them as "good clean material" more so than Bollywood films. That's the double standards a lot of us have. We recognise the dirty in bollywood films coz it's so blatant, but we can't be blind to the same sort of filth in hollywood films surely? I think we're living in denial.

The only good thing about hollywood films is that they are rated U., PG, 12, 18, and come with warnings like explicit images of violence or nudity etc etc. But bollywood films are backward in this sense they're not really rated..or if they are not properly. Apparently they're all good clean family movies

I wouldn't attack a muslim for watching bollywood movies anymore than i would if they saw hollywood ones coz in my eyes they're in the same category.

Spot on Sis!!! Interesting point!! and so very true!! Wink
