I like these.

“The first thing created by God was the intellect.”

“One learned man is harder on the devil than a thousand worshippers.”

“Riches are not from an abundance of worldly goods, but from a contended mind.”

“He who wishes to enter the paradise at the best door must please his mother and father.”

“No man is a true believer unless he desires for his brother that he desires for himself.”

“The proof of a Muslim’s sincerity is that he pays no attention to that which is not his business.”

I can't rememer the reporters.

does that mean that if i died in ramadan, i would go to heaven, because the gates to hell are closed?

Character is like a tree and reputation like its shadow. The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing.

Deleted a couple of posts to keep this on topic.

Abu Hurayra also reported that the Prophet, peace be upon him, said, "Renew your faith." "How can we renew our faith?" they asked. The Prophet replied: "Say always: la ilaha illallah." (Narrated by Ahmad with a fair chain of authorities)

The Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him) was shown a heavenly visitant (in a dream) and it was said to him: Let your eyes sleep and your ears hear and your heart perceive. He (the Prophet) said: My eyes slept, my ears heard and my heart perceived. He (the Prophet) said: It was said to me: The master built a house, arranged feast and sent someone to issue invitations. He who responded to the host entered the house, ate the feast and the master was well-pleased with him. He who did not respond to the host neither entered the house nor ate the feast and the master was annoyed with him. He explained: Allah is the Master; Muhammad is one who extends invitation; the house is al-Islam and the feast is Paradise... Al-Tirmidhi Hadith

In Sahih Muslim, it is mentioned that: “The souls of the martyrs live in the bodies of green birds who have their nests in chandeliers hung from the `Arsh of Allah subhanahu wa ta`ala. At one time their Lord took a glance at them and said: ‘Do you want anything?’ They said: ‘What more can we desire after You have given us that which you have not given to any of Your Servants?’ Allah subhanahu wa ta`ala asked them the same question again. When they realised that they would continue to be asked, they said: ‘We wish that You (Allah) may return us to the Earthly life so that we would be slain in Your Way another time’ – they wanted to do that because of the reward involved in martyrdom – Allah subhanahu wa ta`ala would say: ‘I have prescribed that to it (Earthly life) they shall not return.’” (Sahih Muslim)

To be beautiful is to expect nothing in return.

Bukhari narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam) said:

"The Muslim is the brother of his fellow-Muslim; he should not mistreat him or let him down. Whoever meets the needs of his brother, Allah will meet his needs, and whoever relieves a Muslim of some distress, Allah will relieve him of some of the distress of the Day of Resurrection. Whoever conceals (the faults of) a Muslim, Allah will conceal him (his faults) in this world and the next." [Bukhari: Kitaab al-Mazaalim, Baab laa Yazlim al-Muslim al-Muslim, Fath al-Baari, 5/97.]

To be beautiful is to expect nothing in return.

Abdullah ibn Umar (ra) narrated that the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam (Peace and Blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed haya (modesty) and Iman are Companions. When one of them is lifted, the other leaves as well." (Baihaqi)

To be beautiful is to expect nothing in return.

"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.

Abu Hurayrah (ra) reports that the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam (Peace and Blessings be upon him) said, "The Angel of death was sent to Musa (as). When he came to Musa, Musa punched him on the eye. The Angel returned to Allah and said, "You sent me to a servant who does not want to die"... (Bukhari)

and then when musa as found out that Allah swt was calling him, he told the angel to quickly take away his soul. subhaanAllah

has anyone read how the angel of death took away the souls of the ambiya? subhaanAllah so beautiful.

... Allah ordered the Angel, 'Return to him and tell him to put his hand on the back of an ox and for every hair that will come under it, he will be granted one year of life'. Musa asked, "O Lord! What will happen after that"? Allah replied, 'Then death'. Musa decided, let it be now'. Musa then requested Allah to let him die close to the Sacred Land (near Masjid Al-Aqsa) so much so that he would be at a distance of a stone's throw form it". Abu Hurayrah (ra) added, the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam (Peace and Blessings be upon him) then said, "If I were there, I would show you his grave below the red sand hill on the side of the road". (Bukhari)

The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam (Peace and Blessings be upon him) said: “When a man stands up to pray, directing his desire, his face and his heart towards Allah, he will come out of that prayer as on the day his mother gave him birth.”

It's not a Hadith but it's related to the Prophet (saw).

Bilal was the Prophet’s muezzin throughout the Prophet’s lifetime. After the Prophet’s death, once Bilal made Adhan. When he reached “Ashhadu anna Muhammadan rasulu-llah” (I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah), he was in tears. He asked Abu Bakr to pardon him from the task of making Adhan, as he could not bear to do that after the Prophet’s death.

Abu Sa'eed al-Khudri (ra) said: "The Messenger of Allah (Peace & Blessings of Allaah be upon Him) said: "Do not slander my Companions, for if one of you were to spend an amount of gold equivalent to the size of Mount Uhud, you would not even come halfway up to their level." (Reported by al-Bukhaari, al-Fath, no. 3379)

“Whoever goes to his bed with the intention of getting up and praying during the night, but, being overcome by sleep, fails to do that, he will have recorded for him what he has intended, and his sleep will be reckoned as a charity (an act of mercy) for him from his Lord.” (An-Nasa'i and Ibn Majah)
Thank God.

DEFO thank god.....thanks for that hadith, altho shouldnt get complacent, its nice to know that

The Lover is ever drunk with love;
He is free, he is mad,
He dances with ecstasy and delight.

Caught by our own thoughts,
We worry about every little thing,
But once we get drunk on that love,
Whatever will be, will be.
