[b]Is MPACUK Right To Take On Al Mahajaroun? [/b]

MPACUK demanded Police Action Against Members of the Al Mahajaroun Group, after they held placards calling for the death of Non Muslims. Since then MPAC have been jammed by supporters of the group who believe we were wrong to demand action against them and we were "selling out" and others who have told us that finally a "Muslim group is standing up to them, as they were causing wide spread hate against Muslims". SO- Was MPACUK right to take this group on, or were we mistaken?
Have your say. Was MPACUK right to take this group on, or were they mistaken? Are MPAC selling out, or are they doing what other Muslim groups should have done years ago - and stop the thugs.

Al Muhajirun are a bunch of stupid fanatics.

Theey are an extremist group that have now changed their name in order to avoid scrutiny from the police.

Their protect in London last Friday over the silly cartoons was outrageous.

If they broke British law then it is right that police give them a good dressing down.

They give Islam a bad name.

If they did so because AM was wrong, and recognizing that MPAC felt the civic and religious duty to see justice done then they acted rightly and were in the right.

If they did so as a PR move then they acted rightly but were in the wrong.

Its about time a Large group takes on Mahajiroun. They been talking nonsense for way too long, and they are the only ones getting into the press, hence creating the overall image and scapegoat for other muslims.

But, if MPAC take em on and speak out against every outragous move (i.e. every move) they make, then the general public may see that Mahajiroun does not represent most muslims and general muslim views.

I agree with Augustus Davoius.

Besides its far too long that everyone says 'they are so loony you do not need to bother. Everyone can see they are loony.'

In a 30 second newsreel the loony bit may not be aparent.
