The Lover is ever drunk with love;
He is free, he is mad,
He dances with ecstasy and delight.
Caught by our own thoughts,
We worry about every little thing,
But once we get drunk on that love,
Whatever will be, will be.

It was a very spiritual programme.
About 150 people attended…(approx 50 sisters and 100 brothers).
Shaykh Ramadan Qadri mentioned in his speech that you get some Mosques up north who don’t even let non Muslims to enter their Mosques…he said that this was wrong and how Islam is not something “sacred” which others are forbidden to touch.
After everyone had opened their fast we all witnessed a brother taking his Shahada….he was someone who was just passing by the Mosque and was told by one of the organisers to attend our programme…. He was a black brother who was happy with the name we selected for him “Bilal”….
Last year, 11 people converted to Islam in that Mosque in the last ten days of Ramadan.
Shaykh Ramadan Qadri led a powerfully intense Dhikr in the end….
I’ll post a proper report with pictures soon…
Subhanallah, thats good to hear....especially about brother Bilal
Allah swt called him to the truth, and he came. Vah!
