like mould?

yes, it is something that can be overlooked etc, but I think the vote of only 17% choosing beauty on here seems a little low. Either that or I am way more... shallow than most.
LOOL! No not like mould, more like flowers in the spring (I have a thing about flowers in the spring lol)

I think that beauty is important but just not AS important..

It has to be a really comfortable partnership transcending checkboxes, she could have all the beauty, faith, respect and money and be a nice person to boot and the relationship could yet fall short, whereas you might strike up a relationship with someone who has none of the above. You never know.

Lol @ Omrow...family criminal record?

Out of the four options, I chose beauty. I thought respect was about social standing so I dropped that. Future prospects were important until I realised you meant financial prospects - that's just wrong. So it was out of beauty and faith, and really for me, vibes and personality would be more important.

Faith is great, but when we say faith we no longer understand "well rounded individual who values social relations as much as spiritual ones" instead we understand "someone who prays a lot". Given that, I felt beauty was more all encompassing. At the end of the day though, its still 'personality and vibes.'

He's going soft in his old age! ;P I'd like her to be a good role model, who respects me and I respect her, she's gotta be gentle and caring. Ofcourse I've got to find her attractive, so she should be beautiful in both senses. Also someone who tries to follow the commandments of Islam, and someone who can inspire me to be a better Muslim and a better man.

"role model" ???

That is probably the last thing any person should be or want to be.

You should do things either because you want to or because you feel they are right (preferably in that order) and not because you think you will make a good example for others to follow.

Offtopic, but the worst type of role models is kids - they have not gained wisdom and have enthusiasm, so especially adults will put them on pedestals, not realising how the enthusiasm often makes the role they are modelling unhinged and unbalanced. That is only found out years later when the role model falls from grace.

as i said earlier as well in my blog, it is most important that a girl
is a shia coz shia females make best marriage partner.
other girls too are ok, but you just cant beat a shia woman as a wife. they are the best soul males ever. i like this girl who studies with me, but i wont marry her unless she agrees to convert and become a shia muslim.

Would that mean you're a Shiatte Muslim then?
I'm Shaitte by genes, and know everyone needed to know about Shiattes, but practice Sunni law, does that make me an ideal wife?

WAKE UP, A wife is wife, don't come here with all your shia crap, make better wives and all dat. I heard some nasty things about shia gals which I won't mention here. If shia gals are just soooooo good then why the heck you eyeing a sunni gal? Cos shia gals are crap. Go sing you shia song in Iran cos I have a very small appetite for your type.

If this is what they do to their kids, imagine what they will do to the poor husband.
Culinary skills :D
I cant believe no one thinks this is an important skill.
Food doesnt magically appear outta no where you know ¬_¬

Its really disappointing how parents are putting less and less emphasis on teaching their kids how to make food (guys and girls)

1R4M — Thu, 23 Sep 2010 - 14:22

It annoyes me when ppl describe some women as "gold diggers"

cos at the end of the day
a woman always marries a man who will support her financally
its always been like that

and similarly
men marry for looks
theyll even marry a girl thats under 12
Lord knows what u can do with a small child, its gross

but
thats the way of the world unfortunately

The woman can do that. If she doesn't have time then she'll have to make some time.
You sexist pi., HOW DARE YOU!!

RESPECT WOMAN! THEY ARE NOT MEANT TO SERVE YOU! (Just giving u hint of what you're in for from our very respectable, muslimah's)

Are you talking from experience or is this part of your general BS that you come out with?

The power of observation, you don't have to put your hand in the fire to see someone burning, you use your eyes for that.

In that case, i think you should wait till you've put your eyes in the fire.
Coz i think you need more practice at making observations.
