Trojan Horse
A couple of years ago there was a lot of hoohaa in the media about a conpiracy for Muslim extremists to take over schools, mostly in Birmingham. A lot of this hullabaloo was supported by the then Prime Minister David Cameron, his Education Minister Michael Gove and the OFSTED head Michael Wilshaw.
The hysteria reached such levels that a government enquiry was set up to investigate the infiltration.
The Muslim community in Birmingham was much demonised by this enquiry and many students and teachers tarnished by the media hysteria.
I spoke out about the whole affair likely being a hoax at the time and I was not impressed with the Prime Minister using divide and conquer for political purposes – the Conservative party machnery was put into action to demonise the Muslim community in order to gain votes.
Now two years later after the hysteria has died down, last Tuesday the government’s case was dismissed after the government’s case against them was found to involve an “abuse of justice” by government lawyers.
This is the Conservative government deliberately targeting the Muslim community for political gain. They got their publicity, the damage was done, reputations were tarnished and now everyone will continue as normal with no accountability.
One of the schools that was targetted by the investigation, Park View School, has since changed hands and leadership. Students and teachers and the community have suffered all so that the Conservative party could play divide and conquer.
For those wondering, the photo at the top is a real trojan horse, unlike what happened in Birmingham.

The person who kicked off this whole witchhunt, Michael Gove, is back in the governing cabinet.
It was surprising how a term he had used as the title of a chapter of his book on Muslim infiltration in the UK (Trojan Horse) randomly became the name of an alleged infiltration into UK schools. Well, not that surprising considering it was all a hoax carried out to tarnish the Muslim community under Gove’s watch.
