Edible shampoo?

Excuse the misleading title but

Can we use products such as shampoo etc that contain alcohol if we don't ingest it? We obv can't/don't get intoxicated on it, so what's the ruling?

Like, we can't eat pigs but I think most people think that wearing shoes made of pigskin is also not okay?

Cheers all.

End of the world soon?

So I was talking to some friends today, and apparently, Shaykh Muhammad al Yaqoubi and some shaykh Nazim, who I haven't heard of, have predicted that Imam mahdi might/will be at the coming Hajj.

Apparently the revolution in the middle East is a big sign as well? (They didn't say that, my friend did)

So yeah, could this be true? It's really scary.

Oh yeah AND another friend also said that supposedly anyone who doesnt have a pir should get one now or they're pretty much screwed. Is that true; do I NEED one??

Hadith explanation please.

Hi, I was just reading through some ahadith in my Sahih Bukhari Hadith book app, or whatever it's called, and I came across this Hadith that seemed odd to me. Now because its just a phone app, it could be incorrect or wrongly input or something or I'm just being dense or whatever.

21.Vol 2, Book 25, No 653

Narrated Anas bin Malik: We were (in the funeral procession) of one of the daughters of the prophet and he was sitting by the side of the grave. I saw his eyes shedding tears. He said, "Is there anyone among you who did not have sexual relations with his wife last night?" Abu Talha replied in the affirmative. And so the prophet told him to get down in the grave. And so he got down in her grave.

FGS!

I am genuinely getting very annoyed now.

I've just seen some article, albeit from the ohsocrappy daily star, saying that there are now 'Shariah enforced zones' where there are bunches of people going around demanding that people follow the shariah! And before you assume this is just a rag being sensationalist as I originally thought, Its not- supposedly it's actually happening, and this group 'MuslimsAgainstCrusades' actually exists. I saw it quoted here and if you google the quote you'll see lots of links for it though its been taken off the actual site.

Please explain this extremely sexist sounding Hadith.

So, My very anti theist, especially anti Islamic friend emailed me this hadith and asked what I 'thought' of it and how I reconciled it with modern thought cos it seems impossible, and I can't so can someone else.

Or tell me it's not authentic or something.

Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 6, Number 301: Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri:

"Tell me your story"

This is a story I read that gave me shivers and completely touched me. I think it's beautiful. Oh and try not to delete it if you can resist the temptation please

A righteous man was once asked to tell the story of the pivotal moment of his life, the moment in which he first began to apply the teachings of Islam, and the following was his answer:

PG

*Video removed due to censorship and general intolerance for stuff that is not entirely compliant with particular beliefs. Says a lot about the state of the world. Should probably think twice when some of you complain that the rest of the world is intolerant of you.

But yeah, I'll stick to putting up pictures of unicorns praying on rainbows

If anyone's interested it was a video off youtube of Somalian girls in full muslim dress dancing with men. And contrary to the comments there was no 'semi naked'ness, that was the entire point of uploading it, seeing how little it means to some people because it has kind of become so much of an obligation or culture to most.
