I've decided to ignore him. Something inside me tells me he is saying all this for attention and he is loving the fact that EVERYONE is talking about him.

Well, Im not.

My posts on Zarqa will inshaALLAH end now, unless in a normal thread he raises a nromal valid point.

And you are not the embodyment of virtue.

RE-READ THE RULES OF THE FORUM.... IF YOU CANT BEHAVE THEN LEAVE WILLINGLY OR I'LL PERSONALLY SHOW YOU WHERE THE CYBERDOOR IS.

-ThePhantomMod

Now call me vengeful (I prefer the term loyal but hell whatever) but judging by MuslimSisters comments in the What is the point of the Revival thread - she isn't all that amused by our more than graceous extension of the rules toward Ziggy.

Now perhaps the point wasn't driven home with lilsis walking through that cyber door yall are holding for Ziggy - but it ought to say something when MuslimSister too walks through the door.

I understand yall are patient - but we need to prioritize here - doesn't the forum have some say in who we allow into this community? Everybody says this guy crossed the line, and not only will he not apologize - he wont even acknowledge what he did!

Give him a strike 3 for his arrogance if you have to but enough is enough.

I agree with Dave, this forum is gona be used by all those pathetic dumb idiots who think they can get away with anythin....good one MODS

I have deleted two of his accounts, and banned a third.

The last one will be banned in 59 minutes. Unless he meets the demands.

(and I feel like I have bowed to mob rule :/ )

"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.

Look the guy isn't gonna stick around this evening for strike three - he's gonna wait until lilsis and muslim sister come back - fully expecting their friends and co authors for the revival will have sent him packing - and then hes going to pop out of nowhere with something really hurtful just to get one last nasty comment in before hes kicked.

Dont give him that chance - ban him now.

Let the forums decision be strike three so that we have a say

The moderators understand your feelings,

However even the worst of the sinners is allowed a chance to repent,
I would also like to re-assure the members that no special extension of the rules has been extended to Mr Zarqa.

One rule for all. Three strikes and your Out.

-ThePhantomMod

It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me.

actually that is a new addition... as a special extention of the rules...

(but read my post above...)

I am against banning.

Its leads to tyranny.

I urge the Revival Board to reconsider.

Omrow

I urger the member to reconsider...

I have offered a plank for him to walk down, or give an apology.

It is not my place to decide what he chooses.

I absolutely hate banning. I have banned two people (I think) in the history of these forums. I was not expecting to increase it.

In that case you too should go.

i understand your sentiments admin.

Think of it this way - if you let him stay so he can flirt with the rules forever - you are effectively banning lilsis and muslimsister.

You chose the right course of action better than anything I coulda thought of.

He gets his chance, the forum gets ours

We have to show that this sort of stuff wont go unpunished. Crime thrives on societies "understanding"... when it should just stamp it out.

True.

In this case I cannot ban the ip address, as I have reason to believe it is a publicly used computer.

(btw, do the other places give badges? 'I was banned for blah blah'...)

I can ban his email... but that means he will change it.

(and can we not have a spanish inquisition...)

Nah what's the revival without Omrow?!

We expect him to make ill timed comments.

It's like it's his job.

We don't need to expand this or associate this passing freak show with any of the old timers like Omrow or Med - just because they got caught in the crossfire.

But we know for a fact when he gets banned he moves on - as he did with mpac.

If we have to ban a few permutations so be it - it will be easy to spot him

Not to mention the Alveena and Madheia certainly aren't angry because this sleezebag insulted them - theyve been insulted (far too frequently) before. They were mad because nobody did anything about it - as well they should be.

So if he comes back just ban him again.

Doubtful he will.

Maybe we should just let Omrow after him...

Hello Zarqawi.

Before I welcome you, I would like to ask you a question:

Are you that cold blooded Wahhabi murderer from Jordan who is presently thought to be hiding in Iraq like a chicken ?

Bingo - and we have to show Madheia and Alveena that we aren't indifferent.

Thing is only I can ban people.

And I was at work, and only came on here pretty late on.

I did not initially realise anything had happened... so though having zarqa could be abit of a laugh...

exactly.

what happened - were there no Mods present when he spouted all that rubbish? because if they were and yet they didnt do anything, thats unacceptable.

i think i came in the middle, when some Mod (via PhantomMod) had started editing stuff out...

Well if I were one of the mods and saw something like that i'd just delete everything he said until you or Ed came on.

Maybe Mods should be given banning privileges? - Or maybe the forum should have more of a say in who is banned - perhaps even just a little say.

That's what the mod shoulda done - but I was just surprised at all the stuff that didn't get edited. The orgy thing was obvious - but what about that bizzarre comment abuot MuslimSister marrying a wifebeater and eating pork. Or all that junk about what lilsis wears?

Why wasn't that edited?

The best the mods gave us was "i'm watching him now" 20 minutes after lilsis signed off.

That's just not good enough

and I really don't think keeping him around would entice anyone toward laughter.

"Admin" wrote:
looks like the man has a thesaurus!

So are you a sock-puppet?

more importantly are you the weakest link?

I am not like this normally, but to NOT be banned, you MUST carry out the following:

1. Full and unequivocal apology to all those you have insulted. (The mods were good enough to delete the insults before I got here. Thank you.)
2. A commitment to not insult other members ever again. Here you would eb giving your word. Lets see what that is worth.

3. Remember none of us here Invaded Iraq. Neither did any member support the invasion.

4. Remember Islam does not allow us to act like animals. Not even you.

5. Remember that Islam has set us some laws. These involve not killing innocents. (I used innocents, not Innocent muslims. Take note. A life is worth a life.)

Admin. ban him. he has gone too far

the muppet

hasnt it been editted, at all??

It's been edited now.

Props to Ed btw.

That's the kinda decision we needed 2 hours ago from the mods.
