Not really.

In matters where there is clarity, it is right to suggest that there is clarity.

In matters where difference of opinion exists, it is right to allow the different opinions.

However from what I know, have read and been told, homosexuality is something there is clarity on from the Islamic sources that say it is not allowed.

People will be imperfect and do wrong, but what they cannot do is say that Islam approves of such actions.
