So... basically it does not matter what you actually write?

easy.
Oh it does matter - if we mess these up we aren't allowed to take the final (and therefore fail).

So we have to be completely precise. - we just don't get a grade so there is no potential to help us.
Whats wrong with hermione!?

I like Hermione!

She's smart, and proper and a hard worker.

Yes her dad is a dentist - remember he keeps sending harry suger free candy?
lol, this is gonna sound really wierd, but i blame the movies...

I dislike emma watson, she gets on my nerves, so she's kinda messed up my view of the hermione created by JK Rowling. i always loved hermione from the books though... ๐Ÿ™‚

lol yea emma watson is a whiny little brat - but hermione is awesome!

I severely dislike this emma + ron thing.

Totally unnecessary

lol, ur a hermione-harry shipper!! who wudv thunk it! ๐Ÿ™‚

emma and rupert thing u mean?

or hermione and ron thing? ๐Ÿ˜‚

coz JK rowling has dropped enough hints from, like, the 3rd book atleast, that ron and hermione are gonna get together...
but i thought the ginny-harry thing was pretty dum.b

i dont particularly care either way about who ends up with who, coz it probably wont affect the final outcome of Harry vs. Voldemort, which is wot all the books have been building up to.

Well actually thats not technically correct, males tend to commit suicide more so than women do.

.
I read somewhere that men are more likely to "get the job done properly" wheras women's suicide attempt is more likely to be a "cry for help".

But its true that men are more likely to commit suicide. I don't know what this says about gender differences.
Just another interesting fact. Back home women are more likely to commit suicide by dousing themselves in oil and then setting themselves alight, most usually in the kitchen. Men on the other hand are more likely to take a drugs overdose or to shoot themselves.

Hope u find that morbid piece of info interesting.

That takes some kind of craziness. Poor women (and guys too). ๐Ÿ˜ข

Medarris โ€” Tue, 20 Dec 2005 - 23:52

yeh, ppl kill their daughters in law like that aswell. Forget abt back home, two roads away from us, thats what happened.

The older sister was married to the older brother. And then they decided to get the younger son married to his sis-in-laws younger sister so that 2 bros married to 2 sistas. They were first cousins.

The older sis told her parents dat dont get her married into this house, but parents were like she gonna go uk, she gonna be in our brothers house, what can be so bad?

They found out.

Poor girl was kept a prisoner. No1 hardly knew her, she cudnt open door, or answer fone or do anything and this wasnt cos they wanted to keep daughter in law in purdah or anything. They were just a freaky family. In the end the daughter in law died, we dnt knw if she killed herself or if her mother in law killed her cos she burnt to death in kitchen. I think she did it to herself cos I aint aware of any of her inlaws gettin done over it, but that is sick.

And the worst part is that her father-in-law who is also her paternal real uncle, gives 5 pounds every wk in the local mosque and his name is mentioned in the dua. I feel for that girl. Hope no1 ever sees such things happen.

Thats what I have against Pakistanis/Indians, some them have besthi instead of honour, the former being what the gossip mongerers will think, the latter being what Allah SWT will think.

Of course not all people from the sub continent are bad, but the ones who mess up do in an atrocious manner that sort of tars the image of the rest.

May Allah save us. Ameen.

i agree. i think Indians are getting much better though... unless ur from a village, its unlikely that u know people who've got caught up in such stuff.

btw Dawud, how/when/where did u learn urdu? ๐Ÿ™‚

Sucide is probably the most horrific thing ive come across.

Puttig aside eternal damnation in the hereafter, but the mental state of the person who does it. I would imagine he feeling of total hopelessness, and depression as a strong factor.... too terrible to think about really.

Worst thing... how do you console that persons relative?? What do you say to them?? I guess in such circumstances you can only just be there for them. I pry no ne hs to ever experience that.

Angel โ€” Wed, 21 Dec 2005 - 23:46

Suicide indeed is a horrible thing, while back in the news a young boy aged about 10 killed himself becuz he was being bullied, things like this are so upsetting and parents should be well on top of this also teachers to avoid someone from even thinkin of doin such a thing.

Only god knows what state of mind this poor soul was when he did that.

Seraphim โ€” Wed, 21 Dec 2005 - 23:52

A while ago a friend of mine told me her auntie (who lived here in the UK) had killed herself... i was shocked  for once i was speechless. I had no idea what to say to the poor girl. I hav no idea how her family must hav dealt with it.

Its very tragic to loose a member of your family, but loosing them to death by natural causes and loosing them to sucide.... BIG difference and can only imagine the pain being just as big.
