will ask how many times they didn't.

don't read it. if its for coursework, just find the relevant bits. If its for an exam, try answering a question relating to the topic, and look up the bits that are relevant.

University is not a place to gain knowledge, but a place to learn the system.

As an example, look at the last two years of exams on your course (pick any module). atleast 80% of questions will be the same. If mathematical, a few numbers changed slightly.

learn to answer the questions, and you will pass with flying colours. Learn the whole course, and you will struggle.
