ayesha, ur a newbie now but you'll realise soon enuf why people dont let omrow get away with anything. Wink

dee = d (the one you've got after your first name) - omrow likes misspelling girls' names or giving them nicknames.

I do not understand Omrow Vs Latifah.

Is it in jest? or is it a serious dislike of each other? (I guess I should pay attention to what happens on the forums I administrate...)

I can’t speak for the patriotic pipsqueak but there is no real dislike on my part.

It’s just that he needs a slap every now and then to keep him in line, and I am quite happy to administer the chastisement when required.

We can’t have the mouse getting to big for his boots.

Biggrin

i was wondering where this asian obession of ramming food down ur throat as if you were a baby generated from?

yea, MADHEIA, omrow is still spoon-fed by his mommy, he cant get off his lazy backside for a glass of water, so don't criticise his beloved lifestyle! Wink

Two ladies in my town just returned from the hospital cos they some had a minor operation…another two just had babies.

I had a big lunch at home and left to visit them all the other day and ended up eating spicy, greasy food at each and every house… I told them that I’ve just eaten lunch and that I wasn’t hungry…..but they wouldn’t take No for an answer.

I know people have good intentions but…this extreme hospitality is extremely annoying and very fattening.

LOL

Aasiya's on a roll-she's gonna scare that mouse back into his hole Wink Dirol

yeah well don't ever visit my mothers house her favourite word is "eat". Not 15 minutes passes she says eat eat, comes out with a new dish. Annoying is not the word. I'm surprised she isn't obese considering her love of cooking. She just likes to feed others.

Most bengalis offer you tea when you visit with other food. They actually ask you if you want one. If you say no you still get one, so why do they ask?
I've gone off tea at the moment, and i'm still given tea, even though i explain it makes me throw up. So now i just let the tea sit there till it goes stone cold. Then they eventually offer me a cold drink. That which i asked for in the first place.

Hospitality my foot, they need to be retrained.

Lol-I feel the same way. I've made myself sick in the past eating food that I can't usually stomach simply and only so that I do not offend my host.

I'm way past that now...my health and weight is more important that going to extremes to please others.
