but, u c if the chilling is cut out, the 4 of us are likely to go crazy.... I think I may survive it, n stay partially sane, but the other 3, wow, they are jus halfway to crazy already, anymore crazy creeps in, n ill have to make new friends to take egypt, or I could chill with the Mummies in egypt, get it Mummies, lol, thas a good joke if I dont say so myself.

LOL, im up to my usual shananigans with work, turn up when i feel lyk typa thing, even tho its only 2 nights a week..

you dont need £1000 to go Eygpt.

I went for 1 week
4 star hotel, bed and breakfast, transfers, visa and it only cost £250.

Its cheaper off the net. The travel agents charge too much commission.

They are advertised cheap but when you phone up they add a couple of quid extra but they still work out cheaper then what most places charge.

If you book closer to the time and esp in summer you get it even cheaper coz no one likes going to places where its too hot.

IMO you shouldn't go to sharm-al-sheikh if you wanna see any islamic culture (or many muslims). It is a *mainly* russian tourist resort, originally built by the israelis when they occupied Sinai and in recent years there has been a large number of 50-year-old drunk british (topless and saggy) chavs.

It IS very cheap though and the diving is apparently excellent (if you have a burkini). It is also possible to arrange travel to Mount Sinai, where Musa (as) got his revelation of the Taurat:

If you don't get out of Sharm-al-Sheikh, then you will be reduced to your view being this:

Better still, stay in Cairo instead. Its not much more expensive, we stayed there for roughly £250 (not package deal, we organised it ourselves but it was on British Airways). There, you can see:

its true....me and brother razor cant seem to cut down on chilling and it means our holiday plans are on the line....last year we had to settle for scotland, and even then he didnt come 🙁

but just do as i say, set aside 25quid every week.....i done it yesterday....and by august we shud have 700 quid 😃 im 1/28th of the way there lol

Naz, you can seriously go for that cheap? flights and hotel must cost about 500, no?

i wouldnt go sharm al shiekh anyway, tourist spots arent the same compared to what the country naturally has to offer

If you go now then yeah your looking at about 400/500. But if you go June/July the prices drop coz its too hot (pakistan style hot) and no one wants to go.

Apparently its suppose to be the beach type resort, its good if your wanting to top up on your tan. If you cant live without the city life then head down Cairo. If you like your history best place to go is Luxor (thats where i went). You got all your temples and museums down there, you can travel down to the west bank by boat to see the valley of the kings and queens and the temple of Hatshesput, go and ride some bony camels (strongly do not recommend it lol), hot air ballooning etc and the nightlife Alhadulillah absolutely brilliant.

well, they CLAIM it is in the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities in Cairo, but I saw it and I'm quite sceptical of this...it seemed that all the mummies there had been found in tombs/pyramids
