Well This is the new No Topic Topic. ๐
For those who do not know, this place is to talk about nothing. Nada. Zilch. And everything else which according to you does not deserve it's own topic.
The other one was getting a bit long, and was just full of bickering now.
So we have a new start.
The bickering in the Old no topic should not be carried over to here.
EDIT - go to NO TOPIC the Third.

Thanks! I was actually being extremely sarcastic when I said 'vacation.' The Air Force sent me to Iraq for what was supposed to be four months. It was ridiculous, I wasn't doing anything important, they wouldn't let me call home and I wasn't allowed to bring my camera or my laptop.
Basically I was just spent my time bored in a desert.
Iraqi's are great though! Kids are always running up to you to show you stuff, and in turn they demand gifts. Usually shiny objects, fortunately I had a couple silver fifty cent pieces which they seemed to get a kick out of. Much of the time it seemed like I was roaming around downtown los angeles. The food was pretty decent too... like the actual street food, not the stuff hosted at dinners as 'traditional Iraqi cuisine' since we all know Iraqis don't actually have any of that stuff. It's kind of uncommon for me to actually enjoy other cultures food because it's usually either raw, a creature I deemed 'inedible' a long time ago, or just flat out disgusting. The various times I went to China kind of exemplify that... and Greece... I detest Greek food.
I tried to get out into the 'desert' as much as possible, I like deserts. They are very clean.

Oh and the oogly spiders are, unfortunately, real. To my very great dread I saw them and promptly had the military send for two cases of "Raid" just in case there were more in my area.
And I'm not joking about this next part, my natural reaction to this thing was to hold out my crucifix at it.
It ran away.
Jesus rocks.

thats like that old joke:
two nuns are driving through Transylvania one night, when a vampire jumps out in front of them.
"Quick quick," says one of the nuns to the other, "Show him your cross!"
so the other quickly gets out the car and shouts:
"Get out the ******* road, you *******!!"

I banned him, then unbanned him then rebanned him.
I am of the opinion that we should allow abusive posters to stay. But i guess I will be in a minority, so he is banned.

i dont really have a problem as such with him its just that he swears to much. I have also noticed that he has driven some ppl off the forum. I think they got sick of arguing with him (it was like banging your head on a brick wall).

He was ok and had interesting views however his swearing, obscene language and personal insults meant that he had to be banned.

You do know there are people working for the police and the secret service who are regularly checking forums such as this one for anything related to terrorism.
I actually like Oliver Stone. I love his films. But President Ahmedinejad does not enjoy them.
Iran has just said that the brilliant director is controlled by the Jews in Hollohywood; and he is part of axis of satan.

Ahmadinejad turns down chance to star in Oliver Stone film
ยท JFK director sought access to make documentary
ยท President dismisses him as 'part of the Great Satan'
His thirst for the limelight has driven him to launch a multilingual blog and issue a string of headline-grabbing statements.
But Iran's president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, was surprisingly camera-shy when his extrovert persona drew the attention of Hollywood, turning down a request by Oliver Stone, the director of JFK, Nixon and Platoon, to make a documentary film about him. He dismissed the American film-maker as "part of the Great Satan", the Iranian regime's standard term of abuse for the US.
Mr Ahmadinejad's aides said Stone had requested special access to the president after contacting his office through intermediaries in the Iranian film business.
The 60-year-old director has made two documentaries about Cuba's Communist president, Fidel Castro, whom he considers a friend, and another about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
However, Mr Ahmadinejad, who has often criticised Hollywood as a bastion of pro-Zionist interests, was unimpressed by Stone's radical credentials after viewing the films.
"While it is true that Oliver Stone is considered to be among the opposition in the US, the opposition is still part of the Great Satan," the president's media adviser, Mahdi Kalhor, told the semi-official Fars news agency.
"We believe that the American cinema system is devoid of all culture and art and is only used as a device. In the last two years, the global arrogance [Iranian shorthand for the US and Britain] has made a lot of effort to portray their own image of Ahmadinejad, not the one which exists in reality. Hollywood and other Zionist media react to phenomena they don't like through different processes."
Mr Ahmadinejad's adviser, Javan Shamghadri, said Stone's request might be reconsidered if he could secure the rights for Iranian film-makers to make a documentary about the US president, George Bush, and the CIA without harassment.
Iran has complained repeatedly about how the country is depicted by Hollywood. Stone's 2004 film, Alexander, a biopic about Alexander the Great, was heavily criticised because of its sympathetic portrayal of the ancient Macedonian king, who is disliked in Iran because he is held responsible for the destruction of Persepolis, seat of the Achaemenid dynasty, in 330BC. This year, Iran protested to the UN about another film, 300, which portrayed the battle of Thermopylae between the Spartans and Persians in 480BC.
