What Did You learn Today?

It is said that "knowledge is what you hear from the mouths of men as they only repeat the best of what they have heard"

I think it’d be useful to post tid-bits of invaluable information-religious/non religious here in this thread.

It can be stuff that you learnt in work/Uni/Mosque/in a talk/something a wise elder told you/a life experience or something that you suddenly realised.

It can be minor or major stuff. It has to be stuff that you never knew before.

Today I learnt…

1-Why I shouldn’t trust, join or think highly of the Sufi Muslim Council

2-It’s quicker for me to get to Uni by Car than public transport.

3-Rubicon Pomegranate juice is tasty and apparently very good for you.

4-Spending so much time typing on computers leads to illegible handwriting and poor spelling

5-Being in the spotlight on a regular basis results in a higher chance of insincerity in actions and can negate all good work.

today i learnt `the bigger the lie the more people that will beleive it` 😢

I learnt that my religion can land me into sooooo much trouble and any innocent muslim can get accused of trying to go on suacide missions...

(yes i am talking about Airport terror hoax)

i learnt that muslims can suffer on a mass scale, die on a mass scale around the world yet still be made to look like the enimies....

I learnt how rude some asian people can be (How rude is it to talk in your own language when amongst english speaking people who don't know your mother tongue!?) I hate it when people do that, why? It makes me soo uncomfortable...

I’ve learnt…

-One can bend over backwards trying to please others; however some have difficulties in even acknowledging what you do for them. However, if you don’t expect appreciation, you won’t feel let down.

-One should ONLY expect, depend, rely and ask from Allah (swt), as people let you don’t, however, Allah (swt) is always there for you.

-Shubuhat (lack of trust/doubt and certainty) in Allah (swt) a serious disease of the heart.

I’ve learnt that, it doesn’t matter which city/organisation in the UK you visit… nearly all Islamic programmes consist mainly of participants who have grey hair…
