woo niids speeling?

Ifink tis wastin ma tim.

To be honest I hated studying, but it is important. It opens avenues. At a minimum it gives you room to think, and hopefully plan ahead.

idi — Fri, 17 Aug 2007 - 01:44

yh but they learn you some pointless stuff in colege
whats the point learning something you never ever gonna use after u walk out the room?

You — Fri, 17 Aug 2007 - 01:59

You don't know it's pointless til after you have learnt it.

u might not use the actual knowledge, but u will DEF use the skills you learnt (how to research things, how to put an argument across to someone, how to spell  etc)

and u will definately use the A-level certificate in later life i u want a job that pays good monnnnnnnnnneeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyy

Seraphim — Fri, 17 Aug 2007 - 09:40

You see I dont understand such people.

Knowledge is knowledge.

Why do you need to place a value on it based on what you can use it for? If thats all you were interested in why didnt you join the boy scouts?

An educated person has a clear advantage over an uneducated person because he has more opportunities to make a difference.

The more you know, the more you can help people the more they respect your opinon. It opens doors to some really cool jobs and without which all you're doing is getting minimum wage.

Without education, you are not going anywhere in this world. Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.

i see your point, obvisouly knowledge is important
without that i'd be like naz lol
but learning things like integration and stuff
was the point in stuuf like that
you need 2 learn stuff that opens your mind up and broadens your mind

Joie de Vivre — Fri, 17 Aug 2007 - 15:20

I think it's time I went back to college. First time round I wasn't serious.

heeeeey actually ive got A,B,C at A-Level and a 2:2 at degree level. What do you have erm 3 E's and a U 😂 . Do not even go there mr coz you will looooooooooooose muhahahaha.

But i have to agree education is a drag and most of the stuff you learn in pointless but hey if your gonna get a decent job at the end of it you have to put up with it.

idi — Fri, 17 Aug 2007 - 18:18

w8 till i get my A levelz den ini
al suprise you and the rest of the world
and u going to be like "OMG, you soooooooo kleva" lol

It came up with 135 matches! Couldnt find the education thread so this will have to do.

Yeah they offered it back when i was in school but we call it single award.
No no no naz it is called triple award science, single award would be just one award for science triple is three indovidual ones and on my gcse option sheet it said triple award science.
no no no lil funzi its called single award. You study the 3 sciences and get 3 separate grades. Double award is when you study all three but all your marks are added together and you get two identical grades. Triple does not exist i can assure you.

Funzo — Wed, 23 Jan 2008 - 19:58
